OFFICIAL RAMS VS. COLTS THREAD

I'm gonna be in class tonight... and since it's a lab class every other Monday I'll have a computer handy. I'll be looking in to see the score throughout the game... or throughout my class. heheh.

KChiefsQT 10-17-2005 05:59 PM

I need a big night out of Harrison/Manning. Hmm... I say Indy wins by..... at least 13.

siberian khatru 10-17-2005 06:09 PM

Colts 38, Rams 20

Eleazar 10-17-2005 06:11 PM

All I need is for Reggie Wayne to outscore Marc Bulger and Marvin Harrison by 4 points.

Tigermoose 10-17-2005 06:37 PM

Chiefs fan in St. Louis here...

I just haven't been able to bring myself to root for the Rams. I don't like Martz, and they seem like a team past their prime.

But, despite that, I will be rooting for them tonight. If they can manage to knock off the Colts, I'll be jumping on their bandwagon. But I don't think they can pull it off.

Go RAMS!

plbrdude 10-17-2005 06:42 PM

it'll be a hard game to watch. i don't like either team. but beins i didn't get to watch the game yesterday i'll settle for this.

Thig Lyfe 10-17-2005 06:45 PM

let's see... I need Reggie Wayne and the Indy D to combine for 38 points.

I think it can happen.

Miles 10-17-2005 06:47 PM

I need 19 out of Harrison this week due to my dumass last minute decesion to start Hasslebeck over Brunell. Indy better open their offense up tonight.

Calcountry 10-17-2005 06:54 PM

Somebody on a sports show here in the valley circulated a theory that the Colts are laying down offensively.

HolmeZz 10-17-2005 06:56 PM

I've got Harrison, Holt, Stokley, and Vanderjagt going tonight. I'm up about 15 already and my opponent has no one left, so as long as those 4 don't combine for -15 points, I should be in the clear. ;)

Hammock Parties 10-17-2005 07:02 PM

Don Cheadle and Ray Romano beating the crap out of each other in the intro. ROFL

Deberg_1990 10-17-2005 07:11 PM

Yea, we sure couldnt have used a guy like Corey Simon to blow up the middle..

No chit. I wanted him when he was released.

DAMMIT CARL! :cuss:

Coach 10-17-2005 07:13 PM

Touchdown for the Rams. S. Jackson for a 21 yard draw.

Hammock Parties 10-17-2005 07:13 PM

HAHAHAHAHA!!!!

The Colts VASTLY OVERRATED defense just allowed a St. Louis TD. Right down the field.

****ers.

Deberg_1990 10-17-2005 07:13 PM

Well well well....Colts D beginning to show its "True Colors"

**** the Colts.

Bwana 10-17-2005 07:15 PM

The Rams just cut the Colts D like a hot knife through warm butter.

Coach 10-17-2005 07:17 PM

And the Colts just fumbled the kickoff. Rams recover, and are about to score another TD.

Deberg_1990 10-17-2005 07:20 PM

Oh please Madden....dont even try comparing Tony (Soft) Dungy to Landry and Noll.

Bwana 10-17-2005 07:20 PM

10-0 Rams.

Hammock Parties 10-17-2005 07:20 PM

Well, maybe Indy's D is a BIT better.

Hammock Parties 10-17-2005 07:25 PM

Dallas Clark got JACKED UP!

Hammock Parties 10-17-2005 07:40 PM

17-0 St. Louis.

Yeah, Indy's defense is SO improved. ROFL

chiefsfan987 10-17-2005 07:40 PM

ITS A SLAUGHTER!!!!!!

TD RAMS

Thig Lyfe 10-17-2005 07:41 PM

Oh damn.

Well, looks like
A) I'm not going to make up my 38 point deficit with my Indy D
B) I should have started Marc Bulger over Matt Hasselbeck

Megbert 10-17-2005 07:41 PM

SO far the Colts D looks crappy. Hmmmm…

Deberg_1990 10-17-2005 07:41 PM

Wow, maybe McCleon isnt sooo bad???

Reaper16 10-17-2005 07:42 PM

This Rams effort pleases me.

HolmeZz 10-17-2005 07:42 PM

The Colts are being absolutely exposed. Frauds.

Don't say that. We might have to play the Rams in the Super Bowl.

Crush 10-17-2005 07:42 PM

Good to see the Colts Defense is back to its old self.

Dartgod 10-17-2005 07:42 PM

Hehe. I hate the Rams as much as the next guy, but watching the Colts "improved D" getting their asses handed to them AT HOME is friggen hilarious. ROFL

irishjayhawk 10-17-2005 07:43 PM

Hahaha, I can't say how much this makes my day. Now all I gotta wait for is how the media (ESPN) spins this....

It was flat out overrated because they hadn't played a decent offense and when they do they get 17 in the first quarter.

I hope it continues even though I dislike St Louis and the Rams.

irishjayhawk 10-17-2005 07:49 PM

Hammock Parties 10-17-2005 08:00 PM

Bulger is hurt.

If the backup shreds Indy it will be hilarious.

Crush 10-17-2005 08:01 PM

Ha ha James loses the football.

Crush 10-17-2005 08:02 PM

WTF? Indy keeps the ball?

Reaper16 10-17-2005 08:05 PM

That should have been Rams ball.

Crush 10-17-2005 08:10 PM

Good to see Jaimie Martin is now shredding the Colts D.

Joe Seahawk 10-17-2005 08:10 PM

The Rams are getting hosed... I feel so bad for them.. :p

siberian khatru 10-17-2005 08:13 PM

If nothing else, this game is proving what a tool Mike Martz is.

What's the score again? Posts like this are why we kicked you out of the division.

Maybe you should change your name to gorams..

The officials hosed them.. wtf does that have to do with the score?

Oh, that. Sure, whatever. :)

Hammock Parties 10-17-2005 08:24 PM

Colts are going to win. Bulger is hurt and it's 17-14 now.

I was thinking on the way in to work this morning that my gut was saying "Rams will win".

I hope my gut was right.

dirk digler 10-17-2005 08:44 PM

IF Bulger hadn't got hurt this may have turned into a blowout early.

I hate the Rams but watching the vaunted Colts D get embarrassed is down right funny.

Crush 10-17-2005 08:45 PM

Martin isn't doing that bad. They drove down the field for a FG late in the half.

Deberg_1990 10-17-2005 08:46 PM

Freeney get abused by the good Left tackles..Roaf toyed with him too.

Yep I agree with that list.

tk13 10-17-2005 08:53 PM

I'd forgot that Freeney and an article about the "new" Colts D was on the Cover of SI this week. There are a lot of people cracking jokes about it on the Colts forum. Everything makes sense now. :)

Crush 10-17-2005 08:55 PM

lambs run defense is pretty horrid.

Crush 10-17-2005 09:03 PM

lambs D hold the Colts to a FG.

schneider221 10-17-2005 09:05 PM

freakin throw the ball to marvin harrison..... he is one of the best WR in the game

Crush 10-17-2005 09:11 PM

Poor tackling by the "new and improved" Colts D.

tommykat 10-17-2005 09:18 PM

With out reading all of this, did anyone catch Peyton calling the ref by his first name earlier? ROFL Only a Manning could do that.....thanks to DADDY...

Did you guys actually leave the division? Crappy defense, pretty potent offense... sounds like the AFCW to me.

keg in kc 10-17-2005 09:33 PM

It would've been so much cooler if the sideline chick had just said "it was so cold down here my nipples were hard".

OK.

I got in late.

What happened to Bulger?

VonneMarie 10-17-2005 09:56 PM

Game over.

Coach 10-17-2005 09:57 PM

Interception by the Colts D again.

Ball in the Ram's 19.

It'll be 45 to 20 soon.

Now on the Ram 1.

Threw an INT, and was trying to knock down the guy who intercepted, but was injured. I believe it was a strained shoulder (his throwing shoulder that is)

Rams were ahead big at that time?

Not necessarily big... but they were moving on the Colts D pretty much at will to that point.

It was 17-0 at one point I believe. The Colt's D was getting embarrased badly in the first quarter.

Then it was all Colts.

Sweet. ABC just aired a little bit of the 94 Chiefs/Bronco's game, where Montana threw that pass to Davis.

"Lord, you can take me now! I seen it all!"

Wile_E_Coyote 10-17-2005 10:31 PM

up next for the Colts, the mighty Texans, minus about 5 starters

It'll be on Sunday Night Football, so I'd sure hope we don't show up flat twice on national TV...

The Chiefs are undefeated when I attend the game. Plus, Houston REALLY SUCKS. Jared Allen might break DT's sack record in that game. ROFL

Coach 10-17-2005 10:38 PM

We did beat the Texans at Houston. I believe it was in 2003, with the Chiefs winning it 42-14.
