John Welbourne is good friends with J. Dare on 98.9 the rock. he just called and confirmed the game has been changed to tomorrow night at 7:30.

The reason he called J. Dare is because he can not go the Freak Fest being held on Saturday and wants tickets.

Yes it's a stupid plan for this reason alone. Those people may need to be evacuating and a football game is going on??? We could be playing in an empty house though.

They are basically encouraging people to wait until the last minute, so the highways can be that much more clogged Saturday. :shake:

I just called the local CBS affiliate here in Wichita. They have no f_cking clue. They weren't even aware of the schedule change yet. The program director is on vacation all week.

Hopefully they won't screw it up.

KWCH (CBS) Wichita is awaiting official word from CBS if they are maintaining broadcast rights, before they make a decision. Lady I just talked to says if it's up to them (local) they'll carry the game in Wichita. So us DooDah'ns got that goin for us.

Also, she said watch the local news at 5 or 6 for official local impact.
