I call them and they just said that it will be live and shown tomorrow night on Direct TV.

Seriously, what's the point of showing it on Sunday?
The Fins/Titans game was on Saturday and they used the excuse that the NCAA had restrictions on what football can be shown on Saturday. Well this is a Friday and they are tape delaying it. I know DTV has the ability to pickup the feed. I know the NFL Network does too. This is a disservice to all the fans outside the KC area. |
Will KOAM recieve the live feed?
|
K I am on the phone with them agian.
this is a national disaster.... |
Anyone have a customer service number for Direct TV?
I expect a pro-rated refund. The representative I spoke with told me that all games that weren't locally broadcast would be available. |

It's been pretty apparent that Directv looks at their Sunday Ticket subscribers as a loyal source of income and will stop at nothing to extract every penny they can out of them. Plus, they overpaid to keep ST exclusive, so instead of taking a financial hit each ST subscriber takes a hit when they push the price through the roof. |

Direct TV Keep Calling. I have called 4 times asking. |
Is there a site for DTV? A forum of some sort?

WHY can't/won't they show the game Friday night? What's the contractual obstacle? Is there some moral imperative to not airing Friday night NFL games? I mean, what the fuck?
I don't pay 200-fucking-dollars to watch two-day-old taped broadcasts of football games in which I already know the outcome. fuckers charge me more each year to give me less. Goddamn it. The only reason I pay that much is to see Chiefs games because I don't live in the KC market. |

Just a thought off the top of my head though. |
I just talked to Direct TV, a very helpful individual named Erick. He researched it and said that it will be on Channel 706 Nationwide at 6 Live. I hope he is right!

He dug into it pretty deep for me since he is a Nebraska native and a Chiefs fan. I have about 75% confidence in what he was able to find out. He indicated that the changes were just made in the schedule. |

Directv Website NFL still sasys Miami vs KC channel 706 on the 23rd.
|
I wonder if I can just quarantine myself off in a room with no Internet until Sunday so i can watch the game like it was happening realtime.
|
Give it up fellas, their contract is for Sunday games only. Period ! You can watch it on Sunday.
Unless ESPN cuts a fast contract, the game will only be televised on the loacl markets. |
This is when DISH Network makes sense. With the DISH, you can set it up to received local CBS affiliates feed. ....I think.
If not, NFL network or ESPN should pick this up. Having this only in local KC market does not make any sense. No one in the Miami market is going to hang around to watch the game on TV unless they plan on being stuck on freeways trying to get out of town later. The die hards will be at the game. |
