How close are you to being an old man?

Please answer the above poll as a quiz. Give yourself one point for each behavior you currently exhibit.

If you score:

0 to 6 points - You're a teenager, either physically or at heart.
7 to 12 points - You're an adult, but you're not in danger of being old...yet.
13 to 18 points - You're old, but you're still fighting it.
19 or more points - You're old, and you know it.

????

Bob Dole 01-12-2006 03:43 PM

Who the hell needs a poll?

JBucc 01-12-2006 03:45 PM

I thought this is what the whole age thing was for

Age is just a number.

Rain Man 01-12-2006 03:53 PM

I scored a 13, which is lower than I expected.

bogie 01-12-2006 03:55 PM

Old age is a state of mind.

Coach 01-12-2006 03:57 PM

4 here. I guess that's a good thing, eh?

Simplex3 01-12-2006 03:57 PM

Hell, I only scored a 4. I'm pretty proud of myself on that one.

Where is the "all of the above" option?

gblowfish 01-12-2006 03:59 PM

Old man, look at my life...
I'm a lot like you....were...
(sung in most grating Neil Young Impersonator's voice)

Baby Lee 01-12-2006 04:00 PM

Gee willikers!! A bordline 1. I have my alarm set for 5:50 a.m., but I invariably hit the snooze at least twice.

Senility does that to a person Simp. I think you were referring to the sleep number on your bed.

Bob Dole 01-12-2006 04:05 PM

Oddly enough, Bob Dole's answers (8) would have been the remarkably similar 25 years ago.

HemiEd 01-12-2006 04:06 PM

I had only 12 points, but I was shocked today when I learned that Angie Dickenson is 74!

Exactly.

Rausch's g/f is now a grandma and Dole is banging chix her daughter's age...

Hydrae 01-12-2006 04:12 PM

I know I am getting towards old but only answer affirmatively 2 times in the poll above. This is obviously a flawed poll and I blame it on the Indians!

Bring back our Rainman! :cuss:

Inspector 01-12-2006 04:14 PM

Only got an 11 and I have 4 grandkids.

Heck, I'm just a youngster.

Bearcat 01-12-2006 04:30 PM

I got zero, but I thought "Slayer's like this" quite a few times... so I went through again and got 13 for him ROFL ....just like I always tell him... he's a crotchety old teenager.

Rain Man 01-12-2006 05:12 PM

Only 9 out of 34 people so far think they're crotchety? This is partially explained by the fact that 11 get confused a lot, but there's still a lot of denial going on around here.

Hammock Parties 01-12-2006 05:15 PM

None of those apply to me, but I'd like to be an old man.

redfan 01-12-2006 05:30 PM

"You kids get offa my lawn!"
"(sigh)These kids today, with their hair and their clothes and that racket called 'The Rock and the Roll'..."

sd4chiefs 01-12-2006 05:51 PM

I got half way through the poll but got to tired to finish. Can you add an all of the above option. :skip:

cdcox 01-12-2006 05:56 PM

Heh, skated by with a 4, even though I'm in the middle of middle aged.

7 of those 9 votes belong to Bob Dole.

morphius 01-12-2006 06:07 PM

Damn, I'm having trouble finding more then one to vote for.

I'm looking forward to senility. I won't have to buy as many drugs then.

Nzoner 01-12-2006 06:58 PM

Thank you Kevin,I've been trying to tell the mrs for a few years now that I'll always be a teenager at heart now I can show her this.

4th and Long 01-12-2006 07:02 PM

I scored a whopping 2. This poll is obviously skewed.

Angie Dickenson may be 74 but a lot of Angie Dickenson is much newer than that.

I scored a 2.
