Rocky Balboa

Sylvester Stallone has started on Rocky Balboa otherwise known as Rocky VI.

He's pretty old to be doin another, but I cant wait for it cause i loved his rocky movies and rambo movies.

Oh yea and he's set to start filming Rambo 4 next year.

I cant wait till Rocky VI hits the theaters, I will definately be there to see it.

Bowser 01-24-2006 12:06 PM

Stallone is still alive?

Phobia 01-24-2006 12:09 PM

I can't see any of it hitting theaters. It will probably go straight to late night TBS.

Donger 01-24-2006 12:09 PM

Sounds like someone ran out of cash.

Predarat 01-24-2006 12:12 PM

It cant be any worse then Leanoard part 6.

Bowser 01-24-2006 12:15 PM

Can't wait for Rambo to yell at Col. Trautman "WE HAD TO GO UPHILL IN THE SNOW BOTH WAYS TO FIRE OUR M-1's!! And we LIKED IT!!!!"

royr17 01-24-2006 12:21 PM

The release date is scheduled for Feburary 9th, 2007.

Fire Me Boy! 01-24-2006 12:30 PM

He's gonna eat lightin', and crrrrrap thunder!

Fire Me Boy! 01-24-2006 12:30 PM

However, at his age, it'll be through a straw and a colostomy bag.

royr17 01-24-2006 12:31 PM

And they already have a trailer out for the movie too.

Is his opponent Godzilla?

Donger 01-24-2006 12:38 PM

It would appear that the mocking "Rocky XXXVIII poster" in Airplane! was somewhat prophetic.

royr17 01-24-2006 12:46 PM

royr17 01-24-2006 12:49 PM

They should have stopped making Rocky movies after 3.

You can add me to the list of some that may not give a shit....Come to think of it the last time I spent money on a Sly movie was "Tango & Cash"...talk about an abortion.

Phobia 01-24-2006 01:24 PM

I might go to see the Rambo movie just to see what kind of automatic weapon they fashion out of walker.

I really think they should do a "Cobra" sequel in which they put Sly into a high performance wheelchair.

Dude, 4 was good. Cold war, Russia vs. the US. Draaaaagggooooo!

I'm looking forward to 6. As long as they use the Rocky theme, it'll be a good movie. You could videotape an 80 year old woman sewing buttons and if you put the Rocky theme behind it would it still be exciting.

HC_Chief 01-24-2006 02:05 PM

Rocky sucks
Rambo sucks
Stalone sucks

KingPriest2 01-24-2006 02:43 PM

This is very old news

Where have you been for the last year?

InChiefsHeaven 01-24-2006 02:47 PM

I'm guessing Rambo IV will be "Rambo - Back to Afghanistan". Where he goes back to kick the asses of the "gallant" people of Afghanistan who helped him against the Russians in part 3...

Deberg_1990 01-24-2006 03:34 PM

IM so there. Ill admit, IM a sucker for 1980's action films. Norris, Seagal, Schwarzenegger, and Stallone. I loved all of them as kid. I cant wait for Rambo to out of retirement and kick some commie butt again!

Immaculate 01-24-2006 05:35 PM

ZzzZzzzz

ROYC75 01-24-2006 05:41 PM

Rocky who ?

ChiefFripp 01-24-2006 05:43 PM

Man a few more years and Stalone can reprise Merideth Burgess's character.

Two worlds collide, rival nations
It's a primitive clash, venting years of frustrations
Bravely we hope against all hope, there is so much at stake
Seems our freedom's up against the ropes
Does the crowd understand?
Is it a East vs. West, or man against man
Can any nation stand alone?

In the burning heart, just about to burst
There's a quest for answers, an unquenchable thirst
In the darkest night, rising like a spire
In the burning heart, the unmistakable fire, in the burning heart

In the warrior's code, there's no surrender
Though his body says stop, his spirit cries never
Deep in our soul a quiet ember
Knows it's you against you
It’s the paradox that drives us on
It's a battle of wills, in the heat of attack
It's the passion that kills
The victory is yours alone

In the burning heart, just about to burst
There's a quest for answers, an unquenchable thirst
In the darkest night, rising like a spire
In the burning heart, the unmistakable fire

In the burning heart, just about to burst
There's a quest for answers, an unquenchable thirst
In the darkest night, rising like a spire
In the burning heart, the unmistakable fire

In the burning heart, just about to burst
There's a quest for answers, an unquenchable thirst
In the darkest night, rising like a spire
In the burning heart, the unmistakable fire
In the burning heart

But what is not old news is that sources close to the production company indicate that Rocky will again take a young fighter under his wing and guide him toward the heavyweight title of the world.

However, in this episode, Rocky will meet the aspiring young amateur pugilist during a visit to the ER where the young fighter is serving his residency. The resident is played by none other than Rich Scanlon!

Chan93lx50 01-24-2006 05:56 PM

For what its worth, I guess they shot the last fight in front of a live audience and Stallone and the contender actually connected with live punches and basically really boxed

Did stallone do this in other movies hell if I know. Just passing along what I have read.

I will check out the movie, but I am getting my dick up for it or anything
