Today is like a personal holiday for me. I love selection Sunday. It's like Christmas. I watch all of these conference tournaments in hopes of learning some little nugget that will help me with my brackets. But when it comes down to it, I'll lose to some woman who picked teams based on who's name sounds the prettiest, or who has the funniest looking mascot. :cuss:

I usually pick who I like, then pick one of the lower seeded teams in hopes this is their Cinderella Story year.

My gut feeling is Katie Horner will pre-empt the show for weather coverage.

Katie was the weather gal who last year said there was a tornado in OPKS when that was not the case.

UPDATE.............I just checked all the KC local stations. They have all returned to regular programming except for Ch. 5 where Katie is still doing her thing.

Unfortunately she may get her wish and pre-empt the selection show as a new batch of storms are forming on the SW corner of the 435 loop.

We may need the out-of-KC'ers after all.
