What he said was when Gootlieb asked if we might make it to the playoffs, LJ responded with what do you mean if, you mean when. He was calm and determined during the interview. For the most part, he said all of the right things.

You're missing my point. My point was he was putting the blame on Priest for the Media asking Larry Johnson questions regarding priest, indicated by "Fu*k Priest Holmes." You shouldn't be blaming Priest Holmes, the leading rusher in KC Chiefs history, for something the media is bringing about. You can't blame Priest for any of the attention the media brings about with him coming back. He has a serious injury and there is nothing he can do. Obviously, he hasn't got the OK from all the doctors and that's what has delayed his decision. He can be a huge part of the offense. I can't believe some of you guys are giving up on him.

I wouldn't say "giving up on him". Just knowing the nature of the situation and how he looked before he got hurt last year.....his best days are behind him.

It's obvious LJ is the starter now and you could say Priest's days as a starting RB are over, but he is still a quality back. And priest isn't doing anything wrong by coming back. I love LJ, and look forward to him having a long career, but he still has a ton to prove to me.

As much as people want to believe that LJ is going to set all these records, that's the reality. He had one of the best 9 games for a back last year, but that means nothing now. It'll be a new season and he's going to have to work twice as hard as he did and I hope he does. Some people don't understand how much Priest Holmes did for the the Chiefs. He's overcome more adversity than any other player and people still give up on him. I pray he comes back next season.
