The official "Underused Players" thread.

Keyron Fox is the obvious one. But who else?

MVChiefFan 09-18-2006 01:56 PM

Even more than Fox is Kris Wilson, I mean damn, he's our secret weapon.

'Hamas' Jenkins 09-18-2006 01:58 PM

Michael Bennett

JBucc 09-18-2006 01:58 PM

Colquitt. Man that guy is good way too good to just send him out on 4th down. I say from now on we send him out on first down and let him do his thing.

hawkchief 09-18-2006 02:01 PM

Pollard, Key Fox.

jspchief 09-18-2006 02:02 PM

I would have liked to see Bennett on a few screens.

Hoover 09-18-2006 02:10 PM

Our Rookie QB! He shouldj have been in there throwing the deep ball all effin day long so we could have lost by 60, then at least we would know the season is over.

DMAC 09-18-2006 02:11 PM

I think Dick Curl is underused.

CoMoChief 09-18-2006 02:20 PM

I think game clock management towards the end of the halves is under-used.

Right, Dick Curl. He obviously is under-used.

Archie Bunker 09-18-2006 02:26 PM

Fox
Wilkerson
Bennett

These are about the only 3 I can think of. With the way Page and Wesley are playing I don't see where Pollard's PT would come from.

StcChief 09-18-2006 02:28 PM

must underused....Kris 'The secret weapon' Wilson

Key Fox needs to be in on passing downs. Goal-line play overthrow was proof of that. we got lucky there.

Pollard - Rookie but hits like a Bonecrusher.

Bennett - could have used a few more plays with him in....

Wilkerson

blueballs 09-18-2006 02:30 PM

this team needs more EK

Hey! That should be his nickname!!:)

Bwana 09-18-2006 02:48 PM

This many posts and no one has talked about placing Rich Scanlon at LT and LG?? :shake: Like he couldn't handle both at the same time. If they would let him , he could also likely play "center as well at the same time." As a bonus, he wouldn't need to use his hands to snap the ball. No doubt he could just stand there and snap the ball with this monster pants snake.

Did Wilkerson even play? He was our best DL man in the preseason.

That's damn right. We DO need more Evel Knievel.
Ballsy mo-fo's who nut up and go for it.
Especially on the sidelines.
I mean, how aggressive did you expect Herm to be? THE GUY WAS WEARING A SWEATER VEST!

runnercyclist 09-18-2006 06:16 PM

Fox, Pollard, Page, Croyle

Easy 6 09-18-2006 07:52 PM

.....Cowbell ROFL

Coach 09-18-2006 07:58 PM

Jimmy Wilkerson.

The guy was doing well during pre-season, and I haven't seen much of him thus far.

Whatever happened to him?

teedubya 09-18-2006 08:02 PM

We dont use The TD Pack band, enough.

Deberg_1990 09-18-2006 08:06 PM

Will Svitek. Especially considering the current state of our O-line.

I am pretty sure snapping the ball with your pants snake is an illegal contact penalty.

bringbackmarty 09-19-2006 12:00 AM

Priest Holmes, where is he? We need his blocking now more than ever.

The way we are running the offense now, the opposing team would never see it coming.

The reason we're not seeing more Scanlon is to protect the sport. We start using Scanlon al the time, and there will be lots of widows and fatherless children. The absence of bling would mortify many.

Sure-Oz 09-19-2006 12:30 PM

Priest Holmes and his nacho dipping skillz
