Game announcers were Card homers?
Solomon Wilcots, or whatever, used the word "Poise" to describe Matt Leinert about 8 times in the first half.
He stopped using it in the second half. Way to go Chiefs D, you could even shut up a Leinert Homer who is in bad need of a Thesaurus. |
Sorry...I have to go with the "Who cares?" response to this one.
|
I didnt even know the Cards had fans let alone Homers.
|
I will call him an NFL owner/ league homer.
The only thing that would have made this game a real 'feel good' story is if the two rookie QBs (Lienert/Croyle) were playing each other. To compare contrast college ball programs. :) :) |
"The refs conspire against us, violent plays from opposing teams should always result in fines, and now even the announcers are against us."
:deevee: :deevee: :deevee: Maybe some of you ought to change your site name to "Vagina Planet". The name would fit better and the logo would be pretty cool. |

Look, the NFL and its broadcasting partners have a job to do. Sell its product and its future stars. I have no problem with that, its basic business 101. If Leinert played for the Chiefs everyone on here would be talking about what great Announcers that CBS has. |
They were having to fight with mecca for ball time...yeah...those kind of balls.

The funniest thing I've seen was the NFL Network coverage of the game. They showed all the big plays... except for this one little INT in the 4th quarter that let KC tie the score.
They never mentioned that, nor did they mention Leinart taking a big sack on their final drive that backed them way up, and then they basically blamed the kicker for AZ's loss. Like Leinart did everything he could and the kicker ruined it for him. Leinart did do a nice job moving them on the final drive, but the way they completely ignored his critical mistakes was nothing short of hilarious. |

Just seemed like they were homers for the Cards. Very tentative respectfull homers, but homers nonetheless. How does that make the announcers against us? They were completely respectful of the Chiefs, just looking at the chiefs as opponents rather than another team. Frankly, I could give a damn whether they were or not, just throwing that out there. And besides all that, go fug yourself vailpass. |

Anyone else chuckle when Berm and Tommy both exhaled sharply when Peytie-pie 'almost' got the Green treatment on his hook slide?

The announcers were total dumbasses. They stroked Matt the whole game-even when he was on the bench.
|
Not another announcer thread........the Cardinals were leading for most of the game, when the teams have the same shitty records the team that is winning should probably get a little more play.
I think some of you are under this illusion that the Chiefs are this top tier team that should get major respect when in reality they aren't. |
