Whenever the community looses someone I find myself listening to songs and putting montages of pictures in my head. This song was on the radio when I got in the car and fired it up. For some reason there was some drissle coming down and I had to put the wipers on.

I love that song... Kid Rock's a really talented guy... I dont care what anyone says.

Yeah I don't really care for Kid rock ususally, but I woke up at like 6:30 put on my gloves to go out to my car. I was thinking about sports radio talking about Lamar all last night and even though it was nice out today I could see my breath when I woke up today. The Sun was was up and all I could hear was birds then when I turned the car on thats the song I heard. I kind of put my head against the steering wheel and was like son of a bitch this day is awesome.

I love Shinedowns' rendition of the song.

For a remake... it kicks ass. I like that they kept it the same. I hate when they change things up.... it should be a tribute to a song you loved, IMO. Nothing needs to be changed.

This whole day was upside down. I drove by Worlds of fun on my way to work. I could see the park evolving, then i saw the truman sports complex changing in my head, then i looked over the skyline and i saw it changing. The death of lamar is a time to reflect on how shit was....how it is.....and how it could be in the future
