The sport most fun to play

Football is the most fun to watch for most people. (I think hockey is in person) what is the most fun to play. Personally I really didn't enjoy football to play 80 percent of the time because I was nose guard or outside 3 gap tackle and lets be honest with my explosive drive I demanded a double team every play. Anyway I played 4 sports over the weekend and I had the most enjoyment playing basketball.

Jenson71 12-15-2006 12:27 AM

Wrestling is fun to watch, just behind football.

Football is best to play, most fun to play, everything. What a battlefield that ground can be. All the glory, and all the loss. My God, I love it.

BWillie 12-15-2006 12:44 AM

This is easy. It's golf. You sit in a cart, don't have to do anything. You drive your ass to a ball, and hit it as hard as you can. And most importantly, you can get SLOSHED and play.

Phobia 12-15-2006 12:54 AM

I LOVE football but I have a lot of fun playing volleyball as well. Indoor or outdoor, it matters not.

Jenson71 12-15-2006 12:57 AM

You know, I played football all four years of high school. Now I want to play again. I'm going out for college football.

(possibly)

EDIT - Okay, I just went to look at the roster for my school's team. In high school, I was 5'11", 212lbs playing tackle (I haven't changed much). The backup in college is 6'3", 275 lbs.

I'm friggin Rudy.

sloshed+sport reminded me of the classic games of sloshball i have played. That takes some serious skill to be able to be trashed, play the field, swing the bat effectively and also do some pitching.

Long live sloshball!

SBK 12-15-2006 01:15 AM

To play, golf. To watch in person, hockey.

To experience it's football.

KcMizzou 12-15-2006 01:27 AM

Basketball

Demonpenz 12-15-2006 01:32 AM

'Hamas' Jenkins 12-15-2006 02:42 AM

milf hunting.

luv 12-15-2006 03:00 AM

Never played football. Not too great at baseball. I played roller hockey when I was younger (competitively). I would have to say the most fun is basketball. I'm actually not too bad at it either, once I get warmed up.

patteeu 12-15-2006 07:01 AM

Basketball

Bwana 12-15-2006 07:19 AM

For me it is martial arts. If sky diving were considered a sport, that would rank right up there as well.

greg63 12-15-2006 07:23 AM

Foozball!

DaFace 12-15-2006 08:30 AM

I know a lot of people seem to enjoy playing pocket pool. I'm surprised it was left off of the list.

StcChief 12-15-2006 08:45 AM

Football
Basketball
Volleyball

boogblaster 12-15-2006 08:49 AM

Entery-course the great indoor-outdoor game for couples ....

Saulbadguy 12-15-2006 08:56 AM

Basketball. Only need 2 people.

Where's the B-Ball game at?
I'm interested.

BIG_DADDY 12-15-2006 03:08 PM

I enjoy all sports but when it comes to real competing the only thing I am doing now is martial arts. For team sports I enjoyed football the most in school followed by basketball then baseball.

Baby Lee 12-15-2006 03:14 PM

To play;

1. Soccer
2. Basketball
3. Football
4. Volleyball

JimNasium 12-15-2006 03:17 PM

Football when I was young and my body could take it. Now I enjoy mountain biking the most.

Wow you compete at mountain biking? They have races of something?

wilas101 12-15-2006 03:22 PM

I love playing baseball and volleyball.
I personally believe, though, the most fun is beer olympics.

But thats just me.

No, Jenny and I just ride for fun. I'm too big to compete. Most competitive cyclist weigh in at a lot less than my 6' 3", 212 pounds.

Baby Lee 12-15-2006 03:26 PM

I find baseball incompatible with most all my other 'big ball' sports endeavors. A baseball takes a different trajectory than the big balls, and I'm forever misjudging it. The trajectory of a soccer/basket/volley-ball is ingrained in my DNA. The trajectory of a baseball just plain isn't.

Sounds like you're in pretty good shape. I am 6'3" as well but sitting at about 225 right now. I have no idea how I am going to make this 205 pound weight limit for my next tourney. It will be one hell of a challenge. How old are you?

Baseball of softball?

I'll be 41 in February. I could stand to lose about 10 pounds though. I need to get back into the gym soon.

CHIEF4EVER 12-15-2006 03:31 PM

Most fun to play = soccer. I'm biased though, I played fussball (soccer) in Germany and love the sport.

Baseball. I can hit baseballs and softballs pretty well. And I can man the infield, well, probably subpar, but not so subpar as to be an embarassment. But in the outfield, I'm a total loser.

I have not been lifting since my last tourney so I am going to be able to muscle on quick. I want to add 5- 10 lbs of muscle and lose 25 - 30 pounds of fat. I'll be shredded like a mo if I pull it off.

Interesting. I was WR when I was younger and I played CF in baseball. I never really noticed much difference. Baseball was not my favorite sprt though.

Believer 12-15-2006 05:21 PM

Volleyball.

Fishpicker 12-15-2006 05:33 PM

basketball. I really liked playing 21 at school. that way I could just cherry pick and shoot FT

BucEyedPea 12-15-2006 05:35 PM

Big Game Hunting for me!
Second would be croquet.

klg61 12-15-2006 07:20 PM

naked womens volleyball. but i have allways been into martial arts since a kid..

noa 12-15-2006 07:24 PM

Basketball. Even if I'm not shooting well, I can at least play tough defense, rebound, and pass the ball. And when I am shooting well, the game gets a whole lot more fun.

CoMoChief 12-15-2006 07:30 PM

Oh hell, it's gotta be figureskating.

Golf. You only need one person.

ChiefsCountry 12-15-2006 10:33 PM

Real tackling football with full pads is the most fun. Because all other sports are very similar from a game to practice to backyard game, football isnt. The only sport in which a real game is totally different than a practice.

sedated 12-15-2006 10:36 PM

the 5 greatest feelings in sports:

1. sacking the QB.
2. blocking a shot in basketball.
3. intercepting a pass.
4. hitting an important 3-pointer or other clutch shot.
5. climbing the rope in gym class.
