Will they quit?

After the Chiefs lost to the Browns two weeks ago, quarterback Trent Green reported several of his teammates were feeling pretty down – almost as if depression had set in around the locker room.

Kansas City followed up that week by coming out and blowing a game at home against the Ravens. How do you think that locker room is feeling right about now? I’m guessing they could all use some Prozac.

Now is probably not the best time to raise the question, but I feel it’s an important one – will the Chiefs quit?

If there are no Damon Huard references I refuse to read it...

This is what is great about you:

You aren't just bad at your job, you feel the need to cover your tracks.

It's like a dog eating its own shit so their owner won't find out that they crapped on the stairs.

I eat everyone's shit. Is there some reason I can't eat my own?

Make sure that the next pile you decide to munch on has plenty of tapeworms. You could use the help.

Hootie 12-15-2006 10:58 PM

I for one feel that the players will quit midway through this game if things dont go well in the first half...

Herm and the coaches quit on the team in Cleveland, The team and game plan quit on the fans during the Baltimore game..

I just think they realize that there isnt much hope for the playoffs. They know they lack coaching leadership and are going to just go through the motions til the end of the season...

I see them quite possibly finishing 7-9... Really not out of the question.

Time for a major change at one arrowhead drive.

Thig Lyfe 12-16-2006 01:00 AM

I am starting to think that Hootie and GoChiefs are one soul split into two bodies.

no. herm and clark will explain to us dumb fans how it was a transition year... loosing starting players unexpectedly, installing a new mindset on offense and defense, overcoming obstacles(which they did, more than we would have guessed)...
they will talk about how the third year is when it all comes together :banghead:

The... 3rd year? Okay, extrapolating the ratio from the 17th year of a 5 year plan, we can expect it to take 11 years or so. Oh, God.
