Bryan Leftwich?

What do you guys think? Jags might be looking to get rid of him, big guy with a big arm.

Mecca 01-08-2007 09:38 PM

Well his names Byron.......

ChiefsCountry 01-08-2007 09:39 PM

No

TrickyNicky 01-08-2007 09:39 PM

What about Jeff George? He's got a hell of an arm and is just waiting for the call.

Deberg_1990 01-08-2007 09:39 PM

Nah........hes got some talent, but i dont see him ever being a true Superstar.

ferrarispider95 01-08-2007 09:43 PM

He doesnt have great stats, but is tough to bring down and has some scrambing ability.

I guess i wouldnt be opposed to it. Hes still fairly young, but hes a little injury prone.

Simplex3 01-08-2007 09:45 PM

I think any jackass can hand the ball to Larry and chuck the ball at our receiver's feet on 3rd down. Why overpay for that?

NaptownChief 01-08-2007 09:45 PM

Other than being knicked up a lot, having a real slow and long delivery and being very average he would be great.

shaneo69 01-08-2007 09:47 PM

Only time I've ever been impressed with Leftwich was when he beat us on a last minute drive a couple years ago. I think that's the game he just went over Bartee on every play.

Sure-Oz 01-08-2007 09:59 PM

He looked more appealing when playing in college.

Thig Lyfe 01-08-2007 10:00 PM

I would prefer Quin Gray.

RP_McMurphy 01-08-2007 10:02 PM

The only thing Leftwhich scrambles for these days is a extra helping of biscuits&gravy. Let's say Ryan Sims has better workout habits than Leftwhich.

ferrarispider95 01-08-2007 10:26 PM

http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/396167

He had a great year in 2005, but only played 11 games, and only 6 this year.

Well him and Jared Lerenzo may be fighting it out for the fattest ass QB in the NFL.

RP_McMurphy 01-08-2007 10:36 PM

It would be a standstill fight cause Leftwhich ain't moving anywhere but to the buffet line.

Bugeater 01-08-2007 11:04 PM

mmmmm....biscuits & gravy

Ok he's not THAT fat.

KurtCobain 01-08-2007 11:07 PM

no

SPchief 01-08-2007 11:08 PM

I'd much rather have Derrick Gerrard. Is he a free agent?

You are correct, I did not see the second piece of bacon right away. There also should be gravy on the bacon.

Yes to breakfast ... No to Left-turn-witch ...

Rausch 01-09-2007 06:39 AM

Terrible...

Bwana 01-09-2007 06:41 AM

No way!

The Poz 01-09-2007 06:57 AM

I think the only QB worth consideration that can be had during the offseason is Matt Schaub. Though, he is a Restricted Free Agent meaning the Chiefs would have to put up considerable $$$ for him. Honestly, we should just stick with Green for at least one more year and concentrate on the O-line, D-Tackles and WR's in free agency and the draft.

Hello? It was WILLIAM-FREAKIN'-BARTEE! My grandma could have pulled that off.

RP_McMurphy 01-09-2007 07:57 AM

Garrad is not a free agent but for a forth rounder you guys could easily get him.

ILChief 01-09-2007 08:10 AM

Um, no. I'm tired of other teams' junk. I want our own QB.

yes, and give Brodie a few snaps to see what happens.

crazycoffey 01-09-2007 10:44 AM

Several Jets veterans will be released before March. The most likely candidates: RB Kevan Barlow, RB Derrick Blaylock, WR Justin McCareins and QB Patrick Ramsey.
-- New York Daily News

Hey, now someone will want to start a campaign to go after Ramsey.

Dont even wanna know what we would have to give up for him. JAX 3rd stringer looked okay, but only because we decided not to play any defense in the 3rd qt.

That RB we have Landon Johnson is pretty good though :p

I think we gave up our 4th rounder for Michael Bennett.
