Just found out that they're giving her mom 12-24 hours to live. Also, she's still without power at her house. I don't think she's been working very much due to being with her mom. She's really stressed, and I'm sure she would post this on her own if she was able to.


UPDATE: Just in case there are those, like me, who don't read through all the posts.

Kathy's mom passed away at about 6PM on Friday 1/19/2007.

Oh, thoughts and prayers to TK and family. Give her a hug for us when you get a chance.

Dad bought an extra generator this weekend to put over at her place. She stayed with her mom all night last night. I think they called in Hospice. I'm not sure what else she needs, but I'm sure she'll be appreciative of any thoughts and prayers.

Can we request a sticky for this thread? TK is a longstanding member and she and her mother deserve this.

I know that she's still without power. I talked to dad, but he hasn't heard anything yet today. From the way both her and her brother are talking, it may be just a matter of hours. I'll keep you all posted as I hear anything.

My wife lost her dad three years ago and her mom over a year ago, and she still cries almost every day. It gets a little easier over time. The good memories start to take place of the sad ones.

I didn't work last week or will I this week. The funeral is Wed. with visation Tues nite. My bro and his wife plus myself made the arragements today.

I spent the last 3 days sleeping in Moms room......sorry just shaking my head. Unless someone has been there no one can understand.

Just a babble I realize, but I still can't think clear. Thank you all for everything~

I will be back again sometime.
