"Round and round..."
Weird. Buccaneers | Team acquires Plummer Sat, 3 Mar 2007 10:27:57 -0800 ESPNews reports the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have acquired QB Jake Plummer from the Denver Broncos for a conditional 2008 draft pick. |
REPOST, I Think.

I didn't see anything on the first page... and this isn't the deal from yesterday.

I haven't seen this news on a legit site yet, but rumor is that Denver sent a 6th rounder this year to Miami for... the 70 year old Dan Wilkinson.
Weird x2 |
Wait, Dan Wilkinson? Hes still in the league?
|
Garcia and Plummer huh?! So Strange!
|
Sounds like it... www.kffl.com has issued the "ESPN reports" deal on the Plummer to Tampa for a conditional 2008 pick. Nothing official like that on the signing of the 340 lb senior citizen.

This is the first time I have been able to say this in March, but the division is either going to be won by the Chiefs or Chargers next year.

The Chiefs are never going to win a game again. People need to come to grips with the fact that we are the worst team ever. Carl Peterson is the worst GM ever. Herm Edward is worst coach ever.
Our only hope is to go winless for the next three seasons, and then we are guaranteed to win at least a couple Super Bowls. That is only way to turn this team around. That is how teams get better. Just look at the Browns and 49ers. Forsake all hope ye who enter here. |

Trading a 6th rounder is nothing, you get a guy who'll contibute to your team for a 6th rounder it's a solid move. |

We are sukking but I just hope we are the best team to miss the playoffs. OK, I realize you are a SD fan and its March........ |

I still think I'd rather have Thomas Jones over McGahee... is that pure insanity? I just think Willis may be more issues than he is worth, plus isn't Rosenhaus still his agent? That doesn't work well with Denver.

If you can get McGahee for a 3rd which was what I heard, I'd jump on that if I were you guys. He'd put up 1500 easy with you guys probably closer to 1800. |

Also Thomas Jones is maxed out he is what he is, McGahee is still to the point where he should get better. He'll get better when he gets out of Buffalo alone, playing with no line your whole career doesn't do alot for you. He has top 10 back talent just doesn't play with anyone else. |
yeah, i do see that side to it... but I am just uneasy with Willis. We'll see.
|
T.Jones very solid behind that Bear OL. He was spelled with Benson/Petterson. Did have an injury here/there.

from what i hear we traded our 6th rounder for big daddy wilk which was the 24 pick in the round....
we still have a detroit's 6th rounder which is the 2nd pick in the round... big daddy will be used as depth on our line and there to help stop the run when we need him to.... we had nothing to lose here....esp. with 2 6th rounders.....good chance those rooks wouldn't make the team anyway.. another good calculated move by shanny |
