Just watched "Walk The Line"
 

Holy crap! Definitely the best movie I've seen in a very, VERY long time. And yes, I know it's been out forever. But if you were ever on the fence about whether or not to rent this... DO IT.

I saw it at the theater. Didn't think it was all that special. I'm a big Johnny Cash fan, so I found that aspect interesting, but I already knew most of what was brought out in the movie. Everyone raved about Witherspoon and Phoenix singing themselves. Witherspoon sounded nothing like June Carter and Phoenix sounded like he was doing drunk Johnny Cash karaoke.

Good flick.

Might want to check out Nashville from '75. All the actors not only sang, but wrote their own music. Pretty impressive if you ask me.

I thought it was OK but nothing great. Though I would have probably enjoyed it more if I were a bigger fan of Cash. Well worth a rental at least.

I really liked Walk the Line. I saw it once in theaters and a couple times on DVD. I love it when he's in the back room, and the prisoners and pumped up ready for the man. And Reese Witherspoon was great. She's pretty fine lady. "Baby baby baby baby". "Ah, let's just sing the song Johnny". I like Cash. I got both of those Legend CDs and listen to them often. I should download or get the folsom prison cd.
