Final Four Predictions
 

I don't think I have to ask who is going to win it all... The answer is obvious.

But with the victor known, who are they going to play to get to the finals and what team are they going to beat to win the championship.

Florida will beat Ku to get to the finals and then will defeat the Hoyas to complete the repeat. Another scenario has them trouncing Ohio State in a championship game -- again.

My bracket has:
Florida, Kansas, Georgetown, and Memphis in the Final Four

KU over Georgetown in the final

is florida going to be playing next week, or kansas or north carolina or ohio state????? All 4 could lose this weekend you just never know but I've got a gut feeling that florida will be the first no 1 to lose and that KU will win it all

We shall see.. If I had to pick the first #1 out I'd say OSU tonight to Tennessee. I don't know if OSU can score enough to keep up if Tennessee has a good shooting night.

The final 4 - (any team making winning tonight or tomorrow night) is worthy and could win it all..

One has to go pretty far back to find as much evenly matched talent with the teams in the sweet 16.

KU against UNC.

This board will implode and call for Self's job if he loses to Roy. lol.

I'd be more concerned with KU or Georgetown than UNC.

And UNC will wear them down, just like they have most all opponents w/ 7-starters. BTW: UNC has 11 starting caliber players.

Georgetown looks strong and getting better game by game....

We are in for some excellent basketball over the next couple of weeks.

i don't know who they will lose to and its just my opinion is that they peaked last year and most of the teams in the sweet 16 this year are better than those that made it last year. Also if KU and Florida rematch I think KU will win, we have already beaten them and this team is about 3x better than the team that beat them in november

I still have a good shot at winning our pool. Would have been golden had OSU lost to Xavier as I predicted.

I said it before the NCAA Tournament and now I will say it again... watch out for UNLV.

Just for comparison's sake ;) this year's team compared to last year's team is averaging:

- more points per game
- a larger scoring margin per game
- a higher FG %
- a higher 3pt %
- more rebounds per game
- a larger rebounding margin per game
- less turnovers per game

Last year's Gator team was ranked #1 at some point during the regular season. They then lost a bunch and went on a tear through the SEC tourney and NCAA tourney and won it all. Thus, they improved AFTER being ranked #1 in the country.

Kaun is KU's weakest link: he has trouble putting in the close-up shots and free throws, and picks up too many fouls. He won't survive a match-up against Florida's center.

this just supports my theory that they peeked in the tourney last year so obviously they would be better during the regular season since they peaked in the post season last year

I predicted KU, UNC, Florida and A&M. I just need A&M to beat Ohio State. I feel confident about the others. I have KU beating UNC is the final.

Obvious, like OSU beating Florida in football.

I had Florida, Kansas, Georgetown, and Tennessee.... but I also had Louisville playing Tennessee and Texas playing Georgetown :shrug:

Memphis is a very talented team. Wouldn't be surprised to see them kick some ass

Pfft.... OSU basketball being overrated is as obvious as OSU football being overrated. I would have had them losing sooner if they had any of the other 6 #8s or 9s.
