Chris Henry was arrested for driving with a suspended license after failing to use a turn signal in Cincinnati last Wednesday.

Henry was also found to be riding without a seat belt after police pulled over his Escalade. He has a court date set for April 19. Commissioner Roger Goodell is intent on punishing repeat offenders of the law and Henry is all but certain to be suspended for a period of time this season.

The point is he's a dumbass for doing so. Especially with his other troubles he's got going on, smart guy.

Having your license suspended usually means you're a dumbass and that's why you got it suspended.

I'm far from a cynic, I have a huge amount of trust and respect for our law enforcement officers.

However, there's an element of DWB to this. C'mon, how many people in a nice vehicle would get pulled over for failure to use a turn signal?

Yeah, it's really funny how some guys just seem to have lots of problems with the cops, it HAS to be a color issue.

TinyEvel 03-27-2007 04:47 PM

Likely to get a supension? For driving with a suspended license and failing to signal? Maybe they can raid his house to see if he tore the tag off his mattress and then suspend him for the whole season.

Damn, out here I think they'd ticket you for actually signaling!

Yep, this wouldn't be an issue if he hadn't screwed up so many times in the past. He made his bed...

The cops probably have pictures of his car taped to their dash.

Chief Roundup 03-27-2007 05:14 PM

Well I wonder if he will even be able to play this year or probably by the time it all goes through court he will miss next season. What a huge dumbass.

Uh maybe if HE would of obeyed the law HE would not of been there and put himself in that position. Black or White HE should not of been operating a motor vehicle on a suspended license. HE is going to have to wake up or wise up whichever you prefer that HE do.

6th arrest in about a year's time, if commish is gonna do anything about strengthening the conduct policy, chris henry had better be whacked for the season, at least. anything less, and the commish just embarrased himself.

Rotoworld...

Chris Henry may be go to jail for 88 days in Kentucky because of his Wednesday citation for a suspended license in Cincinnati.

Henry was cited for driving with a suspended license and failing to use a turn signal in Cincinnati Wednesday. While a relatively minor offense, his probation for a separate case in Kentucky could be revoked if convicted in April. Bengals | Team releases Henry statement
Wed, 28 Mar 2007 10:51:05 -0700

Mark Curnutte, of the Cincinnati Enquirer, reports the Cincinnati Bengals released the following statement after WR Chris Henry appeared in court Monday, March 26, for a traffic violation. "While the incident involved a minor traffic matter, the club is frustrated that the issue arose at all. The club will (delay) commenting on this specific matter until it is ruled on by the court, and Chris' overall future with our team can be determined only after this and other pending matters are resolved by the NFL."
