Worst top 3 picks in the history of drafts?

My God.

I am disappointed beyond words at the trash we picked.

Not surprised, at all.. because Carl is completley incompetent.

But very disapointed.

I'll be shocked if any of these jokers ever starts for more than a few games in his career.

Might as well not even finish out the draft if we're just going to accumulate criminals and losers.

These are hideous times to be a Chefs fan.

teedubya 04-29-2007 02:12 AM

heh. wow. Im completely jazzed by 2 of our 3 picks, and ok with the other.

What parallel universe do you live on?

Miles 04-29-2007 02:12 AM

ROFL

Phobia 04-29-2007 02:12 AM

I think you're wrong. In addition, there were no criminals selected. Are you sure you know what you're talking about?

Mecca 04-29-2007 02:14 AM

What in the **** is he even talking about?

If you can show me any draft service or draft expert that didn't have Dwayne Bowe going right around our pick I'd be shocked.......the guy is excellent value at the pick, seriously what's wrong with him?

Smed1065 04-29-2007 02:16 AM

Too much Hendrixs drugs?

kcxiv 04-29-2007 02:21 AM

Someone drank to much on a sat night.

Miles 04-29-2007 02:23 AM

GoChiefs, this is the ideal use of that certain sky image.

Smed1065 04-29-2007 02:23 AM

They could be a fins fan.

:cuss:

:)

Gravedigger 04-29-2007 04:08 AM

So far I give drafts under Herm Edwards era a pretty solid B if not an A.

CupidStunt 04-29-2007 05:19 AM

You're probably the same douche who was pining for Tank Tyler in round one. We got him in three.

All-in-all a very solid draft. People get enamoured with athletes but what we really need is FOOTBALL players and we got three of them.

I, like others, am a little unsure about McBride (even though he was highly-ranked on Gosselin's board), but I'll trust Herm.

And we still have the second day to go. Another Jarrad Page and Jeff Webb will do NICELY.

The guy has to be Packfan. Clean the sand out Ken.

Hound333 04-29-2007 05:53 AM

I am very ok with these picks. Tank in the third is excellent value and Bowe is exactly the kind of Receiver we need in this run first offense. He's fast and big. We do need to find some O-line today though.

boogblaster 04-29-2007 06:14 AM

Do you really know how many good young football players never get a chance to play because of the cap...many get sent home never to be seen again....

I thought Morphus locked out the trolls. How did this douche get through?

ChiefsfaninPA 04-29-2007 06:46 AM

This guy can't be claiming to be a football fan because he obviously has no clue what he is talking about.

htismaqe 04-29-2007 06:49 AM

All 3 of these "jokers" will start at least 16 games next year.

ROFL

No, Ken would have been happy with the past couple of drafts. He's a firm believer in building through the draft. He was much more critical of our free agents...

Aww, it was the style that remined me of Kenny Boy, along with the Daddy Carl crack. You're right, it's likey not Ken himself, just another dickweed going for the "tool of the week" award. I had to toss him a neg rep just in case.

In the event it is him, I wanted to make him feel like it was old times. If not, it was still well placed.

Tool of the WEEK?

The last 24 hours for Hendrix might be the best post-draft stuff in the HISTORY OF CHIEFSPLANET.

:D

I don't see all of them being starters for all 16 games, but I think they will all be big contributers for all 16.

NaptownChief 04-29-2007 07:24 AM

I like the Bowe pick. The other two I like the positions they play as they are needs but I haven't seen either of them play enough to pass too much judgement. The one thing that I don't when reading their bio's is that neither one of them were fully entrenched starters until their final seasons. If a player truly has 1st day NFL draft talent but hasn't won a starting job by the begining of their junior year it really makes you wonder why. Having seen that play out with Siavii recently makes me a little gun shy.

He may or may not have as much talent but i would have probably taken Quinn Pitcock in the 3rd just because he is a proven worker that should be no worse than pretty solid in the NFL. Gambling on DT's with "potential" versus proven work ethic types is what lead us to the Downing's, Siavii's and Sims'.

Do you think so. Because I am sure they will come in and replace our two retied O-Linemen. Ha, this draft sucked.

Ditto .... selection of criminals and wannabes is for Denver so they have candidates for the FBI's mosted wanted/ring of honor enshrinement or to rename the stadium after when his number is retired.

Stryker 04-29-2007 08:19 AM

You sir are an idiot!

shakesthecat 04-29-2007 08:27 AM

Hey Hendryx, instead of just whining, how about filling us all in on who you would have taken instead?

Brock 04-29-2007 08:38 AM

Wow, this team has some stupid fans.

jspchief 04-29-2007 09:55 AM

Well, Bowe and Tyler have "starter" written all over them.

The only one that seems questionable is McBride and they've already said he's gonna start the 1st 4 games in place of Allen...

Right.

I think Allen will asume his place as the starter when he gets back, and McBride becomes a rotational player at that point.

He'll see a lot of playing time, but not as a starter.
