My only complaint about Eric is that about one out of four of his posts are new threads.

I'm not quite sure why, but one of my pet peeves is people who hardly participate in discussion on the Planet but start new threads all the freakin time.

I like to contribute nothing in a thread, and not start any new threads.

I wish that the board could track more advanced stats like that. I'd love to see a "thread killer" stat that shows what percentage of the threads a user participates in that user is the last poster. It'd be near impossible to do, given that it would be updating about 50 bajillion times a day, but it'd be cool to know.

that would be neat, perhaps a program that looks at the last poster of a thread when the last post is a week old.

It wouldn't need a stat for "thread wrecker" because we already know who that is.
