LJ's contract...poll
now that he's the only one left, when does he sign?
er, poll coming |
a couple of days before the regular season. LJ doesnt need training camp.
Thread closed. |
The negotiations aren't going well, and Nachoman in camp could mean the chiefs don't NEED (2-3RB Offense will suffice) him this year. LJ will sit the year out because that is what carl wants
|
Just pay him 20 million...let him sit out the preseason. Because we're not going to be moving the ball on the ground worth a shit in the preseason anyway.
|
i picked "before preseason (games)"....though I don't think I really believe that
|
He'll be signed before week's end....Mark that on your calender...
|
The Chiefs first preseason game is less than a week away. I seriously doubt he signs by Saturday considering how far apart they reportedly. I say he signs before week one or he doesn't sign.
|
If he sits out the season I will never post on here again write it down won't happen.
|
I hope so bc he is da best shot we got at doin something this year our schedule is a lil hard and without him we have no chance in hell like vince mcmahon. Hopefully this week tho. LJ, Bowe, Gonzo, Croyle yall better watch out.

When do the daily fines start?

consensus he signs before the regular season...probably right
and he'll be the same shitty blocker...wonder if Croyle has the stones to call him out the first time he gets Croyle blasted.....that would be sweet |
IMO, the Tony Gonzalez contract holdout a few years ago was worse than this. Tony was even playing basketball just to **** with Carl's head. There was also arguably the Roe v. Wade of the NFL to be decided- Should elite TEs be paid as receivers or as TEs? Carl got it done before the regular season and Tony proved he didn't need training camp. Carl also had Ryan Sims to deal with at the same time.
Let's also not forget Priest's extension in 2003. Carl had to deal with Priest's Bo Jackson injury bullshit that surrounded him the entire offseason. Would it be worth it to give a player who supposedly had lost his burst a fat new deal? In the end, Priest got his deal and started the first game of the season and set the TD record. The Larry Johnson contract is peanuts compared to this. Carl will get it done. |
