LJ misses practice for 2nd day

Larry Johnson (hamstring) missed practice for the second straight day Thursday.
The Chiefs haven't ruled Larry out for Week 4, but when asked if he thought L.J. would play, coach Herm Edwards responded: "I don’t know that. I would say he is (likely to go)." Michael Bennett would pick up a start if Johnson sits, with rookie Kolby Smith being a candidate for goal-line carries. Sunday's matchup at San Diego makes both backups unattractive fantasy pickups.

He'd better play.

LJ doesn't want to play hurt for a team that it obviously a loser and end his career. Can't say I blame him. I'm sure we'll see more of this as the season progresses.

Oh well. This just saves mileage for a year or two from now when we can actually field a competitive team.

This is what happens when the O-line is so bad that he gets gang tackled behind the line of scrimmage every other play. 400 carries has nothing to do with us not being able to open ONE hole for the man to run through.

I actually don't think he's listed as doubtful. It seems that they don't have to "label" the player until Friday. As of right now, all we know is he hasn't practiced this week. It has Kennison listed as "limited practice" but I would say he's probably doubtful and LJ is somewhere between questionable and probable.

Just our luck. We pay the guy 45 million dollars, he gains 50 yards in three games, then goes down like a bag o' babies.

He strained his Hammy during the Bears game. It happens to just about every damn football player. If Larry can play he will. Even if he doesnt play at least we will have to throw the ball more which is a good thing right now. They have to learn throw the damn ball downfield and not a 1 yard pass to wilson.

Shows that maybe we should invest some money into a line
