I like this kid. He's a play maker. (he'll make some bad plays too, but I'm alright with that.)

I am guessing the biggest beneficiary of the impending Croyle era (other than fans) will be Larry Johnson. Safeties will have to respect Croyle's arm and quick release.

Threw a pass into a defender while hopping backwards? Dropped the ball while trying to throw then standing there and looking at it? Threw a handful of short dump off passes? Threw three incomplete passes into the endzone? Made an easy pass to a wide open Parker with 0:00 on the clock in garbage time?

I'm all for letting him start next week and play a full game, but he scares me with some of the stuff he does.

Maybe we should be chanting for Brodie Planet ..

5-11 is way better to watch with croyle at qb then that crap we had to watch today

I'm sure you've heard it before, but most of us don't want Croyle to start because we think he'll be the answer to all our problems this season.

I'm not saying he did great, but damnit there MAY be an upside. We know there's no upside in Hutard.

I want to join twice.

Some of us even accept that he may not be the answer at all, but we need to find out.

Nah, Huard has his 15 minutes last season. And I know it was Croyle's big moment, and he was just making some rookie mistakes that can and will hopefully be fixed with time, but there was nothing exciting about what he did today. Some people are acting like his big TD drive was some amazing feat.

One thing that'll be interesting to see, is if we still run a bunch of short passes like we were with Huard. Herm said that's what Huard wanted, but when Croyle came out I didn't see much change in the game plan..

And I also don't think Huard is really hurt...

Hootie, GOAT and DFB should run for cover...

I believe this is the start of a new era. I'm ready to see what the kid can do. Granted he hasn't thrown that many passes but a passer rating of 118.8. I think that should stick in people's minds. Especially with his ability to get the ball where Huard can't and Bowe's great hands. That spells starter to me.

Croyle should have taken every single snap this year...we'd be in the exact same place, but he would have experience and would already be a better QB....

but we're grooming a Vet so we can wield the worst offense in the league....

I think it's time now, too. 2-3 was what I was hoping we could avoid with Huard.

I don't believe a mere QB change is all we need turn the season around, but now is as good a time as any to make the inevitable swich.

At least Croyle has room to grow... Huard gives us nothing for the rest of this year let alone any hope for future playoff appearances...

At least we'd have a young QB gaining game experience, perhaps learning from the mistakes so he'll improve. Unlike Huard, who is 34, ineffective and not improving.

Its not a top Offense..but Croyle gives this team the only chance to win with this Oline and no-run-blocking....

I'm for Croyle more than anything, but will anyone acknowledge that Jacksonville was playing soft? I'll reserve my opinion until Croyle leads us to a win after playing a full game ... something I want him to do ... hopefully Huard's "injury" will keep him out next week.

Who knows what Croyle would have done. If we play him we might find out. The point is, we know what Huard did. I wasn't nearly good enough. And his level of play didn't surprise anyone. He is who we thought he was.

Um ... I had to listen to the game on the radio, Mr. JuicesFlowing, so I could be wrong ...

But, Mitch said that the Jags sent a linebacker who came free into Brodie when he hit Bowe on the deep pass to the 13 yard line. That doesn't sound like they were playing particularly "soft" to me.
