The Official Patriots Vs. "Next sacrificial Lamb" thread

Here we go.

I Predict:

Pats - 87

Philly - 3

kstater 11-25-2007 07:20 PM

Imagine what the spread will be for the Pats V. Jets game?

40-50?

kstater 11-25-2007 07:22 PM

Read an article this week about Vegas and the Patriots. Basically the article said that they have to put the spread high because as soon as they open a game(ie this week they opened at 20) the big bettors put a ton of money on the Patriots. Within a couple of hours they have to move the line way up.

Mecca 11-25-2007 07:22 PM

Tom Brady is here to rain down for my fantasy team.

hahah

The guy i played last week had Brady, but i won. I had TO, who had a huge game last week, so it basically evened out.

Ill bet the dude was pissed when they sat Brady in the 4thQ.

2112 11-25-2007 07:24 PM

Everybody get ready to shower the Patriots with praise in this thread, so Amnorix can read it gleefully later tonight.

kstater 11-25-2007 07:26 PM

Well that was quick. Patriots don't even need to run the offense out there.

SPchief 11-25-2007 07:27 PM

15 seconds in and the Pats have scored. At this rate they might score 100

Pats could start their 3rd stringers tonight and still win by 2 TD's

BigMeatballDave 11-25-2007 07:30 PM

I have no issues with 'running-up-the-score'. But you gotta wonder how much longer before someone takes a shot at Brady. Lucky for him, Rodney Harrison is his teammate...

Mecca 11-25-2007 07:31 PM

It's hard to take a shot when his line is so good no one touches him.

If i was a coach, it might be worth the penalty early in the game for getting a blatent late lick in on him.

doomy3 11-25-2007 07:33 PM

How did they score the first TD?

Mecca 11-25-2007 07:35 PM

Samuel returned an INT for a TD.

His line cannot protect him from cheapshots.

Right, but a player could find ways to get to him. He might be suspended for a couple games, but if they really wanted to they could get him.

Yup, and while I wouldn't condone it, I wouldn't be surprised if it happened sometime this year.

dirk digler 11-25-2007 07:38 PM

Feeley is looking good

kstater 11-25-2007 07:39 PM

Oh hell the Eagles are just going to piss them off. You can't be tying the game up.

Mecca 11-25-2007 07:39 PM

Look the Eagles actually think they have a chance...

dirk digler 11-25-2007 07:39 PM

TD Eagles.

Pats D looks weak

kcxiv 11-25-2007 07:46 PM

True

I tell you what the Pats have an awesome O-Line they are the reason the Pats are so successful.

Of course I talked to soon as Brady got drilled I was hoping he wouldn't get up

Mecca 11-25-2007 07:47 PM

And the sack doesn't matter now.

FAX 11-25-2007 07:47 PM

You guys wouldn't know if this game were being streamed anywhere, would you?

FAX 11-25-2007 07:48 PM

Man ... I really like the attacking style of their offense. Fearsome.

dirk digler 11-25-2007 07:49 PM

When Brady is running and he slides they should just lay him out cold

unothadeal 11-25-2007 07:49 PM

Is this the only all-white line in the NFL?

kcxiv 11-25-2007 07:50 PM

These mother ****ers are basically running the run and shoot.

Are you condoning dirty play just because they are better than everyone else?

Hey now, as Chiefs fans, we shouldn't condone cheap shots. We don't wish injury on anyone but Donk players. Now if he happens to get hurt, we just smile and move on.

That's what I'd do. Then I'd help him up to condone good sportsmanship.

dirk digler 11-25-2007 07:53 PM

TD Pats

kcxiv 11-25-2007 07:54 PM

Linebacker and a fullback on the goal line. Thats alot of power.

No I am saying while he is running maybe the player can't stop his momentum and his helmet accidentally hits Brady underneath the chin.

Pure accident not on purpose. ;)

BigMeatballDave 11-25-2007 07:55 PM

All I can say is, if you are up by 30 in the 4thQ, and your starting QB is still in and still passing, you're asking for it...

Yes. I am

doomy3 11-25-2007 07:57 PM

Westbrook is a great all around back.

dirk digler 11-25-2007 07:58 PM

Mecca shouldn't be complaining because that is what happened to Trent Green and Mecca said that was a legal play so if Brady is running players should lay him the **** out.

It is all good right Mecca?

dirk digler 11-25-2007 08:02 PM

Pats D is looking very weak or the Eagles O is better without McNabb

What a ****ing catch

Easy 6 11-25-2007 08:07 PM

WOW!!!

The Iggles are trying to make a game of it, 'bout time SOMEONE did.

kstater 11-25-2007 08:07 PM

I see the Patriots scoring a lot of points late in the 4th quarter.
Maybe even an onsides kick. Can't believe the Eagles have the gall to try and keep it close.

smittysbar 11-25-2007 08:08 PM

woouldn't it be funny, if Philly could pull this out!

FAX 11-25-2007 08:08 PM

Hoo Boy!!! Look Out!!!

JBucc 11-25-2007 08:09 PM

kstater 11-25-2007 08:09 PM

LMAO

Eagles really done messed up now.

dirk digler 11-25-2007 08:09 PM

LMAO

I love that call

Herm needs to take some lessons

siberian khatru 11-25-2007 08:09 PM

Heh, Iggles recover an onside kick -- just as Jimmy Johnson recommended they do on the pregame today.

tk13 11-25-2007 08:10 PM

No mercy.

Bugeater 11-25-2007 08:10 PM

That's just going to piss the Pats off.

Bugeater 11-25-2007 08:11 PM

BTW, didn't that fat bastard do that to KC on the opening kickoff a few years ago?
Dammit Carl! :cuss:

kstater 11-25-2007 08:13 PM

So the only result of that onsides kick was 3 yards and pissing off Belichek. Brilliant.

Pablo 11-25-2007 08:13 PM

Now the slaughter begins. The Pats have to be pissed..how dare the Eagles compete with them.

Mecca 11-25-2007 08:13 PM

Now the Pats are really going to run up the score.

BucEyedPea 11-25-2007 08:15 PM

Wtf's with the Pat's D tonight?
Geesh! How dare they score soooo soon. :grr:

dirk digler 11-25-2007 08:18 PM

it is damn near impossible to stop this team

Bugeater 11-25-2007 08:18 PM

Why haven't the Pats scored yet? What's taking so long?

Pablo 11-25-2007 08:20 PM

OMG!!!! A sack. What the hell was that..that doesn't happen.

kstater 11-25-2007 08:21 PM

Didn't know the Pat's had a FG kicker.

Pablo 11-25-2007 08:21 PM

This is amazing..Go Eagles.

Wow..they're kicking a FG. And their kicker has attempted 12 all season, now 13.

dirk digler 11-25-2007 08:22 PM

Wow a FG by the Pats that is unheard of

Maybe the Patriots are human after all

BucEyedPea 11-25-2007 08:24 PM

dirk digler 11-25-2007 08:26 PM

Big play by Lewis

siberian khatru 11-25-2007 08:27 PM

WTF is going on here?

kcxiv 11-25-2007 08:28 PM

Nice play
