Despite scoring the fewest points throughout the regular season, I am going in to the final game as the favorite.

That's weird. The two best teams made it in my league. The player he has that scares me is Brady. Hopefully all TD's go through Moss as that is one of my receivers.

I'm guaranteed a play-off spot but ours don't start until the NFL Play-offs do.

The low scoring was due in most part to three HORRIBLE weeks.

If Adrian Peterson gets me 18.5 or more, I will be there.

I've got another money league where I need him to get 19.5 for his owner for me to make it in.I hate having to rely on another team for help.

Oh it doesn't suck at all,we love it.

The top 6 teams have a redraft of play-off players left on the bottom 6 teams,we get to keep any of our existing team who made the NFL Play-offs as well.

Last year in the league I didn't make many moves, this year it seemed like I made 2-3 every week. The contract league is just odd enough to be interesting.

Gotcha. However, I could reasonably see a team reach the playoffs without a single player who makes the NFL playoffs. Do you redraft each week of the playoffs? For instance if you have LT, Gates, Burress, Brees, etc. and they all get bounced round 1.

I'm 8 points down to take on Cinderella here for the title. I've got my minnesota defense going tonight. Hopefully the sorry azz Bears offense is going to put me in the finals.

I also bet the guy I'm playing is pissed...He'd be on up on me by 14 if Brian Westbrook hadn't dropped at the 1.

I'm in the finals as well. Though I'm going against Tom Brady who is playing the Dolphins. Let's pray for a miracle.

I feel your pain. Fortunately I have Roethlisberger, Parker and the Pittsburgh D going against the Lambs. I also have Moss so that could ease the pain a bit.

Well we got tired of the head-to-head format because we feel like fantasy football should be about scoring and there's no way in hell to model it like the actual NFL although some purists will argue so as of 3 years ago we adapted the following format and can't say enough good about it.

12 teams,head-to-head schedule only for a few bucks and bragging rights,the overall scoring to make the play-offs works like this.

A point system of 11 thru 0 with highest points of the week getting 11 and so on.This way if you have 2nd highest score of the week but lose your h2h you're still rewarded for putting together a good squad.

We play all 17 weeks on that point system and the top 6 make the post-season.

As for your original take it's really amazing to see how many play-off players are already on teams since the higher scorers are usually in the running.For instance as of today I have 11 of 21 players going to the NFL post-season.


Sorry for the length but I can't say enough good about this format,we find ourselves checking everyone's scores because 1/10th of a point in this league can mean losing 1 point overall.

God that friggen pissed me off. I have Westbrook too and it almost cost me going to the finals.

No but we don't have h2h in the play-offs either we go into a total score tournament.Your roster has to maintain regular season if you have that many players left but the whole idea is to score the most all thru the NFL Superbowl,and yes when it's all said and done you may only have 1-2 players during the NFL Superbowl but hopefully your other players scored well before getting bounced.

I'm in mine. I finished second last year. If I don't win it this year I'm never playing FF again.

I will be in the championship game in one of my leagues. Of course it's the free one and not the money league. But, wife is alive and kicking as the #1 seed in the money league.

Unlike most here, I'm in if Peterson scores LESS than 18.5 points and would go up against the team with Moss/Brady/NE defense.

Strangly enough, I beat them twice this year already....

I kicked everyones ass all season, then the very first playoff game, Brady does nothing! In fact, none of my players did sqaut!!! So, 1st seed is down by 23 points right now and I have 2 lame asses going at it tonight...sucks!!!

this year it was down to 6 players. But the previous 2 years I think there was 12.

The closest person to me point wise this year was 170 points behind. And no, I didn't have Brady or Moss.

We have 10. I have always done well. Ready to bring home the chingo. :)

Semifinalist in my big money league. I had a bye this week as I am the #1 seed. I hope Peterson can stay healty until next week.

I'm in 2 leagues this year. Finalist in both. Both teams I played against in the semi's had Tom Brady so I'm happy to have gotten by them.

I didnt make it. I had the highest scoring team all year, then, this weekend, I got 3 points from TO, 3 from Burress, 1 from TG, and 8 From Lynch, while my opponent 19 from Crosby, 21 from NE D and 23 from LT. Un frigging believable! Despite my bad week, I still outscored the other 2 teams. But I had to get the guy who kicked ass this week. :banghead:

We have a stange Defensive scoring system in my pay league, the dude I was up against had Chicago's defense and the 20 points they allowed was enough for me to win but Tavaris Jackson and his 3 INT's ruined it for me. I lost by the 2 points his last INT cost me, and I would have totally run the opponent for the Gold Ring that is on the line.

I am extremely disappointed. Eli Manning killed me most of the year and then defense hurt. A lesson for next year

I know it doesn't qualify as a h2h league but as of Thursday night with Big Ben as 1 of my qb's I managed to jump up to 97th overall out of 5000 in the NBC $100,000 Challenge.To say I'm getting a bit nervous about picking players is an understatement.

I would be all over if fast Willie hadn't gone down.

I'm in the super bowl in my league, and my matchup should be real close. He has tom Brady and Welker, but I have Moss, he has Chad Johnson, I have Houshmandzadeh. Just kind of a weird matchup because we both have some elite players that play for the same teams.

my playoff games are two weeks long. i have to face tom brady and wes welker too. i also have moss. but facing brady two weeks in a row scares me. epecially since they are talking like peyton may not get a whole lot of playing time. so i'm an underdog for the 'ship.

I'm also in an ESPN league where the playoffs are two weeks long. Last season I won a Chiefs Planet league on ESPN so this year they invited me into a "Champions" league. The Planet League was much tougher than this one.

Every player on my roster underperformed this week. Bad timing for that. At least I fielded a team that could get there though.

I pulled off a win in Guru's dynasty league, luckily my RB's got healthy at the end of the season, I was having to compete with some pretty crappy RB's through the year.

1 league I lost by 7 but the 1st Kevin Curtis td was not scored because it was a fumble recovery,wtf ?So I would've lost by 1 had it been credited but what hurt worst of all was losing with Brady at the helm when Warner on my bench would've won the game

I am winning my league. The only player left to go is LT. Any points he gets me will just be icing.

I think I am going to win. I have gates tonight he has B Marshall, I am up 18 points right now.

As I recall if Gates gets 1 more td he will be the 1st TE ever to have 10 or more 3 straight years,so I'd look for at least 1 score from him.

At least Falcon didn't win it two years in a row. We would never hear the end of it. :)

my wife beat me in our championship (unless Brandon Marshall somehow puts up 30 points tonight). but i'd point out that i drafted and managed both teams, so it's a win-win.

besides accidentally drafting someone in the final round, the only thing my wife did with her team was name it.

so, both my teams ended up in the championship. me with manning-wayne-westbrook leading the way, her with brady-moss leading the way.

I beat Aces, but it was fair. I drafted and managed my own team all season. I'm also second in our pick'em league by one point.

I have Marshall in the CP NFL_Sunday4 league title game, also going against Gates. I had no idea I was even in the finals until about 15 minutes ago. Had I checked b/f, I'd have started Vernon Davis over Shockey and would be up 5, rather than down 1.

I need 8.5 pts out of LT tonight for me to win my superbowl(and $500), I'm not ready to call it a win, but I like my chances.

My son made it to the final game in three leagues and lost all three. He won $350 but could have won $700. Still, he had a much better season than his dad......I got nada, only made one playoffs.

It's fun playing in leagues with my sons. Gives us something we can do together despite living in three different states.

Mine is $500 as well. I have 88 points and Gates still playing. He has some receiver on the Donks and 71. This is about as close to a done deal as it gets. It's a shame Fast Willie went down I would be a lock right now.

Barring any major setbacks, I am about to win two Championships tonight.
