Theoretic Super Bowl

Cowboys vs. Patriots

Who you rootin for?

Buck 12-26-2007 09:46 PM

Just want to gauge which team is most hated.

Simply Red 12-26-2007 09:49 PM

Gaz, easy one.

ChiefaRoo 12-26-2007 09:49 PM

I hate Dallas. The way the media sniffs their collective asses. Hell even Dierdork was licking baows in the 90's and he played for a division rival. Jerry Jones can eat shi*

kcfanXIII 12-26-2007 09:50 PM

i love history. i love seeing hsitory made. my roomate was about to call comcast to order nfl network to see the pats game on saturday, until i saw that it will be simulcast on the networks. i'll be rooting for the pats.

Did you ever get that job?

'Hamas' Jenkins 12-26-2007 10:04 PM

Injuries and blown calls.

Mecca 12-26-2007 10:07 PM

I want to see the undefeated season.

Dave Lane 12-26-2007 10:14 PM

Me too what a great memory to pass on to you friends and loved ones down the road.

BTW,

the 72 Phins went 14-0 regular season.

There have been several 15 win regular season teams since then and the Pats are already 15-0.

The 72 Phins regular season record is somewhat overblown.

But not to take too much away....Did they go 17-0 altogether?? Thats still highly impressive no matter how you spin it.

Mecca 12-26-2007 10:21 PM

My opinion of this is simple, I didn't care at 1 point. But then when I got all the 72 Dolphins guys coming out acting like total dickwads, that was when I decided I wanted the Pats to do it.

pr_capone 12-26-2007 11:06 PM

F00k the Pats and their legions of bandwagon fans.

Aholes, wasnt it a Municipal Job?

JBucc 12-26-2007 11:13 PM

I want the Pats to win that matchup. Even though the media Pats hype is bad, it would be a million times worse if the Cowboys won. I can't take another decade of "America's Team"

Extra Point 12-26-2007 11:15 PM

This is the only Sunday since I was a kid, that I'll be rooting for a team with a Manning on it.

Go, Gaz.

Actually, aside from this years' Pats, no team has ever gone 14-0 aside from the '72 Dolphins, so it's still quite an accomplishment. And yeah, the Phins went 17-0 overall that year.

Tribal Warfare 12-26-2007 11:17 PM

Patriots, to witness NFL history in my lifetime.

Ironic that you don't like the 72 Dolphins because they act like dickwads of all things

Oh someone else who thinks I'm a dick, shocker.

cdcox 12-26-2007 11:45 PM

I like both teams. I voted for that Pats on account of the history thing and to see Bellichick piss in Shula's Cheerios and Shula having to eat it with a smile.

Cartman 12-26-2007 11:51 PM

Cowboys, reluctantly. Because I'm sick and tired of ESPN and the rest of the NFL/Sports commentating world sucking off Brady and Belichick.

THIS

And because of last years playoffs.

We told you. But you wouldn't listen. Maybe Marty will take a job with another team and you can tell them how he will steal their souls.

Thig Lyfe 12-27-2007 02:10 AM

I'd like to see the Pats make history, so it's them in this hypothetical. But if the Packers make it, I'd go for them. My family is from Wisconsin and they've always been my secondary team.

Bump 12-27-2007 02:40 AM

I'm hoping for a Jacksonville vs Green Bay Superbowl

No! If Jacksonville makes it that would make Herm think what he's doing is right. That's about as bad as Pittsburgh winning as a 6 seed then the Chiefs organization thought they could win a Bowl just sneaking in.

how is Jax sneaking in? They are clinched at 11-4 and have the 3rd best record in the AFC.

CrazyPhuD 12-27-2007 04:20 AM

Meh...doesn't matter. Patriots will win sat to go 16-0 and then be one and done in the playoffs. Epic collapse...mark my words been saying it since mid season.

For the Patriots to do it under the structure of free agency though, is in my opinion a better accomplishment. Provided they win it all that is.

StcChief 12-27-2007 09:02 AM

Pats... hate Dallas with a passion.

Buehler445 12-27-2007 09:23 AM

I put Pats, but I might have to eat a bullet during pregame if this matchup happens.

And they are finally hanging in there, or beating, good teams now. They have a chance to go deep but no deeper than round 2 (they don't have a bye, do they?)
They keep chipping away and get better each year.
