Just want to gauge which team is most hated.

i love history. i love seeing hsitory made. my roomate was about to call comcast to order nfl network to see the pats game on saturday, until i saw that it will be simulcast on the networks. i'll be rooting for the pats.

the 72 Phins went 14-0 regular season.

There have been several 15 win regular season teams since then and the Pats are already 15-0.


The 72 Phins regular season record is somewhat overblown.

But not to take too much away....Did they go 17-0 altogether?? Thats still highly impressive no matter how you spin it.

My opinion of this is simple, I didn't care at 1 point. But then when I got all the 72 Dolphins guys coming out acting like total dickwads, that was when I decided I wanted the Pats to do it.

I want the Pats to win that matchup. Even though the media Pats hype is bad, it would be a million times worse if the Cowboys won. I can't take another decade of "America's Team"

Actually, aside from this years' Pats, no team has ever gone 14-0 aside from the '72 Dolphins, so it's still quite an accomplishment. And yeah, the Phins went 17-0 overall that year.

I'd like to see the Pats make history, so it's them in this hypothetical. But if the Packers make it, I'd go for them. My family is from Wisconsin and they've always been my secondary team.

No! If Jacksonville makes it that would make Herm think what he's doing is right. That's about as bad as Pittsburgh winning as a 6 seed then the Chiefs organization thought they could win a Bowl just sneaking in.

Meh...doesn't matter. Patriots will win sat to go 16-0 and then be one and done in the playoffs. Epic collapse...mark my words been saying it since mid season.

For the Patriots to do it under the structure of free agency though, is in my opinion a better accomplishment. Provided they win it all that is.
