What is everyone doing?

Staying home with the family.

Nothing. New Year's Eve is overrated.

We never do anything, but this year I guess we are. Live music, dinner buffet, champagne toast, hotel room with late checkout and brunch. $199 per couple. I'll double that when you include in the alcohol. :banghead:

Drinking and driving, hopefully.

Be sure to pick up some STDs on your way to jail.

I'll fire off my leftover fireworks and then go to bed.

Family, I take a week off almost every year & spend Christmas & New Year's in MD. Besides the fireworks lasts around 20 min., much longer than a 1 minute ball drop in some other east coast city.

Going to a Party with some folks from work; should be fun, they have tons of food and one of those Chocolate fountains rented for the occasion, mmmmmmm

That New Year's Eve sucked. It was a week to the day before my 21st birthday so I couldn't go to the bar. We just ended up wondering around the Old Market in Omaha.

This year we'll be at my parents' house during the day because New Year's Eve is my Dad's birthday. We'll be home before 2008.

So it'll be like every other night? :)

Every New Years at midnight she rolls a big basket of fruit across the floor and flings pennies everywhere.
It's supposed to make us rich. The odds are probably as good as me buying lottery tickets.

I'll be staying home and going to bed at about 9:30 pm. I will be getting up at 4:30 am on New Years day to go to work.

The problem with New Years Eve is it's "light weight night." There are a lot of people who normally don't drink, tipping back tasty beverages, getting liquored up which results in bonus fights. I had my nights on the town for New Years Eve in the past, but choose to kick back at home these days and relax with a few Alaskan Ales and a dinner of steak and king crab legs. No chance of getting into a brawl with some liquored up punkass dink that thinks he's superman and ten feet tall after his second peach fizz and no chance of an encounter with Johnny law. Those of you heading out, have fun, be smart and remember, a cab is a hell of a lot cheaper then a DUI if you have had one to many.

3rd annual poker party, all night poker and fun to be had at my house, i stay off the streets

We stay home on Amateur Night.

We have my parents, my sister & her husband and kid, and maybe another couple or two with their kids over. Our party is usually over around 10:30.

We've got a room at one of the casinos in Tunica,Miss so I'm going to drink and gamble.
