Which network are are you watching the Pats/Giants game on tonight?

I am watching it on NBC myself. Al Michaels = heads and shoulders above the rest.

BigMeatballDave 12-29-2007 06:38 PM

NBC

Thig Lyfe 12-29-2007 06:39 PM

Uhhhh aren't they just using the NFL Network feed?

Full Court... it is on channel 692.

jjchieffan 12-29-2007 06:47 PM

From what I have read, it will be the same announcers, same feed, same everything, just simulcasted on NBC ans CBS. Goddell said: Saturday's simulcast will boost the network by exposing millions more fans to "the quality of the production

Maybe it will expose Bryant Gumbel to enough people to finally get his ass fired.

He may be right, but that doesn't have anything to do with cable companies who couldn't give a shit less about its customers.

I disagree with that arguement dave. Just because the cable companies are not caving to the NFL network does not mean that they do not care about hteir customers. If they pay the higher price, then, they also have to raise prices to their customers to cover the added expense. Just like when minimum wage raises, or fuel prices go up, the businesses affected must raise prices to compensate. If anything, the cable companies are fighting for their customers in order to keep their cable bill down.

I won't be watching the Alamo Bowl, but I won't be watching grown men lining up to suck Tom Brady's d**k either.

Freaking ESPN had a full one hour deal this morning on how cool the Pats are.

I still can't believe the NFL owners found a commissioner with even less charisma than Tagliabue.

I don't know if it's because of the simulcast, but tis looks pretty crappy compared to the networks regular feeds.

This is history in the making!!!! It deserves TWO threads. Might as well make a third to keep up with each channel.

every time a wide receiver drops an easy pass i think the defense should get a free shot with no penalties.

SPchief 12-29-2007 07:49 PM

Should be interesting to see if the Giants can overcome the refs.

Thig Lyfe 12-29-2007 07:50 PM

I guess it's appropriate that a show on two networks (I'm of course not counting the NFL Network) has two game threads.
