imo, he just wasn't a good coach...he didn't command respect from his players, and big time recruits saw right through him...kind of like Weber at Illinois (who, in fairness, is a better coach)...

I like UNC. The Kansas fans don't for a very good reason. No big deal, I just thought your post was a joke when I first saw it, but then it was gone. Not trying to put you on front street.

I like Roy's style, and I've always liked UNC/Duke and watching the ACC tourney every year... but when it comes to seeding in March, UNC needs to lose. :)

I don't hate UNC as much as Laz, but I wish that Roy would sack up and put agree to put KU on the non-conference schedule. The big pussy couldn't handle that. What a **** head.

Weber will come through for his players and the Illinois program. He is nationally known for his integrity about which, unfortunately, they found out Bill Self was clueless and classless show what his word is worth.

Bruce Weber? Are you kidding me? This guy is a total prick. Look up some of the things he said about Bill after he left to the Kansas program. That and Weber sounds like he got kicked in the nuts and has permanent damage, or he forgot to grow a pair in the first place. Without Self's recruits Weber hasn't shown he can do anything yet. Self's players always rave about the respect they have for him. He's been successful helping huge egos and high recruits co-exist peacefully without achieving high numbers and minutes. He has got them to buy into the team game.

They were talking this weekend about how Roy was preaching defense before the beatdown of NC State, but they just gave up 46 points in one half to a GTech team that's averaging about 70 a game vs. the decent-good teams on their schedule.

Now that it's been a few years, I'd love to see UNC vs. Kansas in the tournament. I prefer watching Roy's teams when I'm not rooting for them, because they are fun to watch... but I think Kansas could win. :)

GA Tech is starting to give UNC too many extra shots here late in the game.

Pomeroy has KU rated #1. Roy's got a good team, but relies on Hansbrough and Lawson too much at this point--more balance.

Maybe I should edit that to say GA Tech giving up too many easy shots/ layups.

Offensively, UNC is probably the fastest team in the nation.

Defensively, they're HORRIBLE.

GTech is going to run out of gas... I know it could simply be a lack of focus, but UNC might want to concentrate on defense a little more in practice.
