That sucks. Good get for Miami.
Erroneous one strikes again... |
:hmmm:
|
LOL, good job Nick Athan.
|
You have to be kidding me. A lot of Planeteers seemed to be very high on the Dorrell hiring.
Then again, maybe they were just very high. FAX |
I'm never paying for premium again. LMAO
|
You can't blame Nick. His source said Dorrell was the wide receivers coach. What is Nick supposed to do?

LMAO LMAO That's the most ridiculous excuse I have ever heard. What hack journalism. "Well, someone told me this, so it must be true. Better run and put it in my article. Hope it's true!!" |

From Bruin's Nation:
http://www.bruinsnation.com/story/2008/1/21/181731/356 After the blockbuster hiring of Norm Chow, the football program gets a nice shot in the (financial) arm thanks to Kansas City, which reportedly has hired Karl Dorrell as it's receivers coach: From Rocky Mountain News: http://www.rockymountainnews.com/new...front-runner-/ Former UCLA coach Karl Dorrell is considered the front-runner now that Chan Gailey has been hired as the Kansas City Chiefs' offensive coordinator. From The Phinsider: http://www.thephinsider.com/story/2008/1/21/02858/4130 Also, former UCLA head coach Karl Dorrell interviewed with the Dolphins this past week for the WR coach job. But Dorrell has also been offered the same job with a few other teams (KC and Denver, I believe). It's unknown where he might be leaning. From The Denver Post: http://www.denverpost.com/sports/ci_8022074 Karl Dorrell is expected to decide on his future in the next few days. He was in Kansas City and in Miami talking to the Chiefs and Dolphins this week. He has a chance to coach the receivers for both teams. Denver has also reached out to Dorrell and will give him an opportunity to join the offensive staff, most likely coaching the receivers. If Dorrell doesn't join the Denver staff, the team may not hire a receivers coach. From WPI: http://www.wpi.com/ We've learned that Karl Dorrell is considering accepting the position of head greeter at the first WalMart to open on the planet Mars. WalMart has interviewed several candidates for the job and our sources say they like Dorrell's sunny disposition plus he has his own spaceman outfit. FAX |
I apologize for telling Nick about the Dorrell hire...

Is Athan's source one of those links listed? |

Looking at all the links FAX listed, maybe it is Teicher that is wrong.
Quick, GOATSE, write an article saying Dorrell is not coming and then I'm sure tomorrow he will be signed. |

If Mr. GoChiefs were told by Nick to write a particular thing, what's he supposed to say? No, I won't take your word on that, I need more verified sources? I don't think that would go over very well.
Income wise, it's best that Mr. GoChiefs continue writing what Nick tells him to write. Facts or no facts. You go, Mr. GoChiefs. FAX |

I'm pretty sure that all of those other sources are quoting WPI. I Google newsed it and it found several sources, but they seemed to use WPI as their source. Someone should say that we hired EyePod as the new WR coach! I'm up for the challenge. I'll just put away my Fundamentals of Momentum, Heat, and Mass Transfer book and start coaching really athletic kids about how to jump and catch and run fast!! It can't be harder than Chemical Engineering!!!
|
Damn it Carl
|
As much ass as he has kissed in his articles and interviews, He should have just called A+ Carl
|
Someone's off on Price's role as well. I thought it was QB coach not WR's.
So now Curl Stays? Damnit Carl, Herm, pilsburry doughboy............ Damn you Tom Cruise. |

I seriously don't see anything that confirms that Dorrell signed with the Dolphins |
Personally, my money is on the Mars WalMart job.

Or that guy we hired for OC, what's his name? Chang Bailey or something. I was wondering more of who the actual person will be to coach qb's. Not if Curl stays in another role or not. |

Why does WPI suck so much when some other sources on there are great. I know the Atlanta Braves part of scout.com is amazing. They were the first to bust the Tex deal last season. I think the writers for WPI should stop spending their time on the forums arguing and should actually report things well. LEARN FROM THE BRAVES WRITERS!!!!!!

Here's some real dang news ...
Sweden to Study Belching Cows STOCKHOLM, Sweden (AP) - A Swedish university has received $590,000 in research funds to measure the greenhouse gases released when cows belch. About 20 cows will participate in the project run by the Swedish University for Agricultural Sciences in Uppsala, about 40 miles north of Stockholm, officials said Monday. http://apnews.myway.com/article/20080121/D8UADK0G2.html FAX |
this will get sorted out. We should know within the next 36-48 owwers.(DubbleYouPeeEye spelling)

"Three weeks ago a former Chiefs player told Warpaint Illustrated Holmes wanted to continue playing, and there was a chance he’d make another run in Kansas City." HAHAHA So before, WPI would wait until another source confirmed something, say they knew about it weeks before, and then they would talk about it. Now, they just make shit up without any other sources backing them up. WTG WPI |
Quote:
That last part was confusing to me at first....I almost wish that I learned to read out loud only!......OHHH!!! WPI!!! (HE SPELLED IT HOW YOU PRONOUNCE IT!!! HAHAHAHA) |
Quote:
Anyway, Warpaint does some good things. Saying we suck is definitely not accurate. Nick is out in Mobile right now covering the Senior Bowl. Today we put up two updates, the article on two players and Chuck Cook, and Nick had a nice interview with Romeo Crennel. But yeah, we suk!!! |
Quote:

I dunno, I just don't think they're worth the money. I mean, maybe there are a lot of more deals done in baseball, but the Braves section seems to be done a lot better. But you know what the problem is? Carl never does anything worthwhile... that's why it's so hard to cover this mediocre team. So I really don't blame you guys, you're making chicken salad out of chicken shit. The articles are written well, but the material just isn't worth it. Seriously, does anyone read those stupid 5 important people for the win by Nick?

Until I cancelled my subscription over the whole "Mr. Phobia and The Mystery of The 500 Dollars" deal, I liked the post-game locker room interviews they had. For someone outside the KC market area, that was a valuable service.

You'll just have to guess, Mr. EyePod. If I have to tell you, you don't really deserve to know.
Meanwhile, here's some more really interesting news ... Mystery Man's Annual Visit to Poe Grave BALTIMORE (AP) - Undeterred by controversy, a mysterious visitor paid his annual tribute at the grave of Edgar Allan Poe early Saturday, placing three red roses and a half-filled bottle of cognac before stealing away into the darkness. Nearly 150 people had gathered outside the cemetery of Westminster Presbyterian Church, but the man known as the "Poe toaster" was, as usual, able to avoid being spotted by the crowd, said Jeff Jerome, curator of the Poe House and Museum. http://apnews.myway.com/article/20080120/D8U9EQTG6.html FAX |
