Jersey numbers
as listed on Kcchiefs.com:
Brandon Albert 76 Michael Allan 81 Brandon Carr 39 Jamaal Charles 29 Brad Cottam 87 Devard Darling 89 Glen Dorsey 72 Brandon Flowers 20 JOhn Paul Foschi 84 Will Franklin 85 Brian Johnston 97 Michael Merritt 45 DaJuan (and only) Morgan 38 DeMorrio Williams 53 Somewhat interesting to see Foschi get Bigfoot's old number- precursor to another legendary career of invisibility? Also interesting to see Merritt get a number in the 40s- ridiculously big FB? |
im waiting to see if D bowe is gonna get his #80 from Webb
|
40's are the next number in line for a tight end to get if the 80's are filled up.
|
Well, I'm guessing some of the numbers will change but Webb has had 80 for years now. Bowe would probably have to pay for it; or I suppose he could just wait until Webb gets cut in the next few years.

Love that #76 on a big nasty.
By the way, when we get some headshots of the new players I get to write this year's version of last year's fabulous "names, numbers and new guys" column! http://kan.scout.com/2/647516.html YIPPEE! |

As for the others, I'm kicking around getting a Dorsey jersey, but it flies in the face of my wait-until-they've-done-something policy. But this is such a huge signing, I'm considering getting one anyway. |
Who's got Gammon's old number (83)?
|
They should have given Albert 71.

[QUOTE=frazod;4752075]I have a Bowe jersey with No. 82, so I'll be rather annoyed if he changes his jersey number.[QUOTE]
 I see your point. |

At least wait 'till he signs. With your luck, You'll get the jersey, and CP will **** it up, and Big D goes back into the draft next year, where we will draft him #1 overall, commanding even MORE money..... |

I love the Chiefs' new tradition of handing off a jersey number to a wildly different sized guy.
82 went from Dante Hall to Dwayne Bowe. 87 went from Eddie K to Brad Cottam. |

Webb was 19 in college and has no real ties to 80. He would have sold it last year if it was that big of a deal to Bowe. He certainly has the money. |

Any chance Pollard gets his number 31 now that Priest is retired? Is it true that Bowe now has a number 82 tattoo so he probably wont switch to 80 even if/when we cut Webb?
