When do we score out 100th Point this year?
 

Fair question. I'm going to leave out games 1 & 2, but I figure games 3 & 4 will help us discover as a group who has the best drugs.

Week 5.

If we score 100 by game 4 I'll be pretty impressed ... 25 points per game is pretty solid to start the season.

Week 5......

I'm going to say week 7 or 8.

6th game. And just barely hit 100.

Because even if we put up 21 points in games 2-5, we're only up to 84, and I don't think we're putting 16 on the Pats.

25 point per game with this offense would be an act of God.

The Cowboys only averaged like 28 points a game last year. We'd be extremely lucky to average 17 points a game in the first half of the season.

I don't think this team will average 20 points a game....I say somewhere in the 13-16 range.

You guys will put up a 47 spot on the Donko's.

Just like we were supposed to last year at Arrowhead...

and we got slaughtered. As bad as the Donkey's defense is, I don't think we're putting up much more than 3 TD's against any teams first stringers.

I say game 4. Maybe game 5. By seasons end Croyle to Bowe will be challenging Brady to Moss type numbers. Chan will bring on the revival of the Greatest Show on Turf.

week 5 - 20.0 average
week 6 - 16.6 average
week 7 - 14.2 average
week 8 - 12.5 average

Not even in both games. We have field goal Herm remember? He thinks 21 points is LOT of points.

Week 8. We'll probably end the year with less than 250 points (including defensive scores) and it also depends on when Croyle gets injured this year.

At this point I no longer think it a given that the 2008 Chiefs score 100 points.

At this point, we've got 65 points over 5 games, averaging 15 points per game.

I'm not entirely confident that we can score 15 per against the Titans, Bucks, and Jets, so I'm going to stick with my guess and say we'll get our 100th point against the Chargers.

#1 '76 Bucs, < 9 points a game, shutout 5 times.

#2 '90 Patriots... worst offense and 2nd worst defense in the league, and five games with a touchdown or less.

#4 '71 Bills... worst offense and worst defense in the league.

Wow.

Goes to show how bad the losses really are...

Passing: 131.5 ypg
Rushing: 94 ypg

Of the worst run defenses in the league, we play the Bengals (#29), the Broncos again (#25), and that's it. The next lowest on our schedule is Atlanta, and after that, San Diego and Oakland, who are in the middle of the pack.

I'm surprised we avg. that many rushing yards per game, but the Denver game throws off the avg.

Take out the denver game then average the others...

Well I missed and it is sad. Game 17 now. :)

Outside of our one win we are averaging 8 points a game. That means 3 more games to go before we hit one hundred, could even be 4 more to break it.

In case anyone was keeping track, we now have 99 points so far this season. The next FG will put us over the top.
