The rebuilding teams

2007 records
Miami 1-15
Rams 3-13
NYJ 4-12
Chiefs 4-12
Oakland 4-12
49ers 5-11

All of those teams except KC and the Rams appear to have seen major improvements from their woeful 2007 seasons.

The Chiefs appear to be an absolutely horrid team.

The Bad Guy 09-21-2008 02:36 PM

Appear?

That's giving some false hope.

More like are certainly an absolute horrid team.

Mecca 09-21-2008 02:36 PM

This is the worst team in the league, there's no question about it.

kcfanXIII 09-21-2008 02:38 PM

calling this team horrid would be like calling an atom bomb a firekracker. today is the nail in my cable's coffin. i'll be switching to dish, and ordering sunday ticket. i can't even watch this sewage anymore.

That the man filter is great!

NewChief 09-21-2008 02:38 PM

Miami is especially impressive (though we'll see if they can do it again next week or if this week was a fluke). Parcells knows how to turn shit into gold.

The Rams are doing their best to make it into a question.

Not quite. I still think the Rams are worse. Not by much.

I'm not saying them yet because their 2 huge losses are to playoff teams, we got destroyed by Atlanta, so I consider the difference in caliber of opponents.

Do you really feel the Chiefs would fair better against the Giants, so far they've played better teams.

Yeah,it's close but I still think we are worse by a little bit. The Rams do look bad right now though, down 17-0 to the Hawks already

Very true. They have at least played some good teams.

MichaelH 09-21-2008 02:42 PM

The Chiefs will finish this year 2-14, hopefully. They might go 5-11 next year. Then Tony G and any other good starter will be hurt or will have gone elsewhere if not retire. Hermie will say we're going to rebuild for 2010. And tickets will be sold. Print 'em!

I think the Chiefs are worse, but the Rams are bad enough that they have a case for being just as bad.

Who are they gonna beat honestly....even Miami and Cincy are showing alot more life than we are.

Even the blind squirrel finds a nut. They'll be a spoiler later in the season. The Chiefs are really bad but they're not Miami 0-16 bad.

triple 09-21-2008 02:46 PM

i wonder when we will get our first win. surely they can't lose them all. we might have to wait for oakland again, they can beat themselves

We just played 2 of the easiest games on our schedule, we got raped in both...

A team might self-destruct against us, but we will be big-time underdogs every game this season.

On paper we can't beat anyone, but the NFL doesn't work like that. Chances are some team will **** up and manage to lose a game to us.

I'd pick Cincy but that is the very last game of the year so I dunno....

I don't think we'll win any games till November at the very earliest though.

triple 09-21-2008 02:52 PM

it will have to be a team with zero offense, because ours doesnt generate enough points to keep us in a game otherwise. something happens toward the end and we get a turnover and win on a field goal.

or maybe they decide to open up the offense and forget trying to keep these QBs on a leash. like if they put Huard back in and run the Huard playbook

The Rams are at least open to firing the coach.

Picking high in the draft doesn't mean you're "rebuilding". Oakland is rebuilding by spending 200 some odd billion dollars on free agents? NY too? Who are the Rams rebuilding with, it looks like the same old cast of characters. Etc. etc. etc.
