Please just go away.

Best chance to win.

banyon 10-05-2008 12:52 PM

4-12 or 2-14, don't you want to double our win total? What's wrong with you people?

Beerthirty 10-05-2008 12:55 PM

Thank god my daughter has a basketball game today.

kcclipse56 10-05-2008 01:07 PM

so sad on that pass to bowe we had three wide to one side that where covered by 2 db's and huards dumb ass just looks bowes way which was double coverage and throws a pick what an idiot. While tony was wide open for 10 yards

HemiEd 10-05-2008 01:32 PM

Huard sucks ass, he is a "scared e cat", I love the potential Thigpen has. He is throwing with authority.

JuicesFlowing 10-05-2008 01:36 PM

Scared. Weak. MIRAGE.

triple 10-05-2008 02:11 PM

that year Huard came in for Trent Green, he played well and with poise.

He's had nothing left in the tank for two years now. He can't read the field. He tries to throw the ball through defenders. Walks around looking like he wants to kill himself. Misses deep receivers out of bounds... there is nothing, nothing he can do right anymore

chiefs1111 10-05-2008 02:13 PM

he really just needs to retire

Reerun_KC 10-05-2008 02:15 PM

He has no business on this team, which is the only team he would be on in the NFL...

The line can't block on either side of the ball. No one! I repeat NO ONE! even Manning or Brady couldn't do crap with our lines.

Give me a f'n brake....n grow up.

JuicesFlowing 10-05-2008 02:22 PM

When I read the KC Star this morning and read Huard's quotes about how drained and exhausted he was last week after our win, I decided he just doesn't need to be playing anymore. He acted as if he had been beaten down, after a win. That's the kind of leadership we need. Or not.

Frankie 10-05-2008 02:31 PM

I really don't think this game was on Huard as much as it appeared. Don't get me wrong he was bad. But all through the game the commentators were talking about how he didn't look right due to last week's beating he got when we beat Denver. Huard is a reliable veteran back up to have on the bench. At 35 he cannot withstand the hazards of being an every-week starter behind a line like this.

He was either hurt, or quit

Mr. Arrowhead 10-05-2008 05:31 PM

So much for the morons that thought we should keep horrid (o i mean Huard) in there, when Brodie comes back

Hammock Parties 10-05-2008 05:31 PM

Dude was obviously physically ****ed up.

That wasn't the real Huard out there.

Mr. Arrowhead 10-05-2008 05:33 PM

its alot easier to win when your Defense gets the ball back for you 4 times and you rush for over 200 yards

'Hamas' Jenkins 10-05-2008 05:34 PM

Huard's 2006 season was basically like Chris Shelton's April for the Tigers a few years back. When his luck ran out, so did his "ability".

Save it... a lot of people around here have no idea that the success of the quarterback has a LOT to do with the success of everyone else around him.

Croyle will "suck" until he gets an offensive line and a running game. Had he started the Broncos game, he could have just as easily had Huard's 21/28, 160yd, 1 TD/0 INT game; because we also ran for 200 yards and only gave up 1 sack.... well, had he not gotten hurt, but that's a whole other issue.

Sorry, but Huard is done. Our best chance to win is Croyle, and that's not saying alot. Yeah, yeah, I'm aware of the situations Huard was put into today, but he just couldn't get shit done. Rather have Croyle, any day.

Maybe what the commentators noticed was the fact Huard sucked arse.

Hammock Parties 10-05-2008 05:43 PM

Huard was physically screwed up. He looked like a guy with low blood sugar out there. Maybe he caught Cutler's diabeetus.

He handed the ball of a NFL record amount of times, and was the luckiest SOB on the planet in that stretch. Team dropped INT after INT, pretty amazing really. I think Miami dropped like 3 or 4. He sucked ass, but would manage the game if LJ was on fire.

Mr. Arrowhead 10-05-2008 05:48 PM

That INT he threw right to Beason was the worst pass i think i have ever seen, at least when Thigpen was throwing picks, it was cause he over threw someone. But i swear Beason was the intended target on that one

He was terrible. Today. For a reason. He clearly wasn't feeling right.

Chief Faithful 10-05-2008 05:54 PM

Herms biggest mistake was thinking Huard and Pigpen were adequate backups. I also fault him for not already replacing McIntoad, Jones, and Darling.

Really, poor baby.. and I suppose that is the Chiefs fault for actually making him play football last week?

Tyler Thigpen (v. ATL): 14-26, 128 yards, 1 TD, 3 Ints
Damon Huard (v. CAR): 10-21, 86 yards, 2 Ints.

Total wash.

Huard normally plays good football. There was clearly a reason why he was so awful today. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out. The guy looked trashed.

No, you are part of culture of Huard-love, which is why I am busting your balls over it. This whole damn board was in Huard love after last week... He gives us the best chance to develop our players... Keep Croyle benched even when he is healthy... Guess what, the real Huard stood up again.

Sure-Oz 10-05-2008 06:01 PM

We saw the real Huard last week. The real Huard is an accurate passer who does not make mistakes. What do you think happened in the last week? Do you think Huard had a brain transplant? No, the dude got ****ed the hell up last week, never recovered, and came out like the walking dead today.

He never had a chance when the running game died. Poor guy.

You guys can hate all you want. It doesn't change the fact Huard was a walking corpse today. He was in no shape today but sucked it up and gave it his best shot anyway. We should be praising him just for that. Most men would cower in the face of playing alongside Damion Sackintosh.

Im afraid I don't have the discard mentality like you guys. I still see him as a reliable vet BU. Sitting on the bench and healing can do wonders for his reliability for when he is needed to relieve the starting QB.

Huard finished with a 19.7 QB rating! That is a whole lot worse than feeling bad.

FAX 10-05-2008 06:30 PM

In one of his post game interviews, Mitch said that Downfield hasn't been the same since the Raider game. He agreed that Downfield is afraid of contact and isn't the same guy.

I'm pretty sure that Downfield's always been afraid of contact, but I think there's something to the idea that he was rocked in the Raider game and all of a sudden decided that being an NFL quarterback isn't all it's made out to be.

He's a professional backup and, in his worldview, professional backups aren't supposed to get their clock cleaned on a regular basis. That's my guess.

Heh, thanks Jim Rome.

Seriously though, he's good for 150-200 yards passing, and usually won't make mistakes.. but he does have his days; one that comes to mind is the Broncos game at Arrowhead last year.

The quarterback hate of Huard or Croyle is pointless until they can get consistent play from everyone around them.

Indeed, apparently Huard can only start one game every three weeks, or else he is so hurt he can't play no good!

So, a Huard, Thigpen, Croyle, Edwards rotation just might work!

**** yeah, I do.

Let the Titans break Huard's vag once and for all, then these stupid ****ing debates quit happening.

I'll give Clayton credit for one thing.

What we saw last week IS the real Damon Huard.

A guy that can beat up on the worst defense in the NFL at home, then shit the bed against anyone rated over 20th.

How anyone can complain about how Thigpen played in his opportunities after this abortion of a performance by Huard today is beyond comprehension.

These excuses wouldn't fly for Croyle or Thigpen, so save them.
