NFT: I'm going to be a dad

I know some of you likely spit shit all over your monitor, but I found out last Wednesday that my wife is 6 weeks pregnant.

I'm beyond excited.

I'd like to say my little one will be a Chiefs fan, but honestly, if the team is this bad when they are growing up, I'll steer them away from this life of misery.

Wish us luck.

Coach 10-25-2008 12:10 PM

Congrats.

Bwana 10-25-2008 12:11 PM

Congrats Dude

Bowser 10-25-2008 12:11 PM

Congrats, dude!

You live on the east coast, no? Train him/her to be a Panthers fan, or something.

Phobia 10-25-2008 12:11 PM

Congrats Frank. Your life just changed for the better.

Problem is that you won't realize it for several years.

Nope we didn't. We got married last 4th of July.

We've been together for 7 years in January and have lived together for 2 and a half years.

We figured we've had our honeymoon period. We were both really ready to start a family.

Demonpenz 10-25-2008 12:36 PM

horray tax break

I'll be moving back to PA in July so I'm going to push to be a Steelers fan.

I wish my dad pushed me harder to be one.

teedubya 10-25-2008 12:40 PM

Congrats! I never wanted kids because of the crazy world that we live in, but now we have 2 and am extremely blessed.

We won't be having anymore though. The moment you see your first kid pop out of the cooch, you immediately know what true love is. The most memorable moment of my life so far.

Enjoy!

Congrats. You'll love being a father. Hopefully Herm and Peterson will be gone before the little one starts paying attention to football.

Congrats! We just had a boy in may. And it sure makes a person grow up fast. Things change bigtime. But it is the greatest thing to ever happen to me. We have been blessed and heres hopin the same for you and your family!

Go Chiefs!

teedubya 10-25-2008 01:15 PM

I just gave birth to a brown baby boy... he is swimming right now. I named him Herm. I will flush him soon.

Even better. I'm a believer in being together for awhile before having kids. Trying to get adjusted in living with someone at the same time your family has already begun to grow just wouldn't make sense to me. Congrats again.

MOhillbilly 10-25-2008 01:41 PM

you got a sack of bread crumbs ready?

JuicesFlowing 10-25-2008 01:54 PM

Congrats. You'll love the age around 12-18 mos.

Spicy McHaggis 10-25-2008 01:57 PM

Braincase 10-25-2008 02:17 PM

Congrats. Tell your wife how beautiful she looks everyday... except when she's puking - she knows you're lying then.

Ebolapox 10-25-2008 02:22 PM

congrats, dude.

Saulbadguy 10-25-2008 02:22 PM

From one bad, bad guy to another - congrats.

Otter 10-25-2008 02:26 PM

Congrats bro!

There's enough teams in our area that are good. Steer him away from this puss case of a franchise.

Besides, you have 10,000 more important things to worry about until that point. :D

Good luck.

Fish 10-25-2008 02:26 PM

Congratulations. Kids will change your life in ways you never expected. Good luck!

Frazod 10-25-2008 02:27 PM

I like you Jim.

Some of your takes pissed me off when I was a blind homer, but I've seen the light.

Thanks!

MahiMike 10-25-2008 05:06 PM

Awesome! Nothing better in life than your kids. Congrats.

You are welcome Frank, life moves fast enjoy every moment.

shaneo69 10-25-2008 08:16 PM

Congrats. I've found that the best part about having a son is that I no longer live and breathe with what happens on an NFL football field.

ChiTown 10-25-2008 08:16 PM

Secure your man-cave before it's too late!!!!

Congrats, dude. Being a Dad is the best thing I have ever done. I'm actually in bed with my youngest right now - 7 yr old (he's sick). He's sawing logs while I channel surf and check out the boards. Life is great. Again, congrats and best of luck.

Pat

Thanks buddy.

I will get my mancave. We might have to rent when we move back to PA because we'll only have one income, but after that, my mancave will be built into the house we get (or build).

I wouldn't expect a piece of shit like you, who adds dick to this board, to post something of substance in any of my threads.

****ing loser.

I'm one of 3 boys, but my wife is one of two girls.

So one set of grandparents is getting something totally new.

Congrats on being a grandpa. Hopefully I'm a good 30 years away from that.

Thanks for the encouragment.

I'll be lucky to live to 58.

Marty Mac Ver 2.0 10-26-2008 01:22 AM

Frank....Gunther says congrats! :)

Seriously, kudos my nubian brother. Kids are great. They are a pain in the ass at the age of 2.5 when you take them to a toy store and you leave empty handed because you forgot your wallet in the car.

:)
