****Official Greatest Loss Ever Thread****
Thigpen looks great
Charles looks great Cottam looks promising Bradley shows signs of life Flowers looks like a Pro Bowler. The pick we traded for Herm goes DVDA on us Herm crawls into a shell with the game on the line The Refs ****ed us so we can say we didn't really lose. The #1 pick drive is still intact PBJ PBJ PBJ |
Exactly, I'm not sure why people are so pissed off. We played great and still lost.
I'm sorry if it sounds like I'm not a "true fan", but I'd much rather finish 1-15 than 6-10. This team needs talent, not meaningless wins. |

and add, Thigpen may become a decent backup....that is not nothing |
This is exactly what I want to see every week. Be competitive, show improvement and then let Herm **** it up in the end.
|
That was probably a best case scenario.
|
It's kind of assumed with the "the pick we used to get Herm", but the only thing I'd change is adding "Edwards comes full circle by pulling a Herm against the the first team he head coached for".
Now Jets fans can come by and say "we told you so" and we can be all like "yeah". |
Lions are still ****ing everything up.
|
I thoroughly enjoyed the game for 60 minutes. We lost, but Herm plays to lose the game, so what do we expect?
Thigpen looked like an NFL quarterback. |
The perfect game.
|
Yeah...but the fucking Lions keep bending us over and reaming our asses every week.
C*cksuckers. |
we did some good things today.. Herm is still an idiot and needs to go. Every game we lose is one step closer to seeing him go..... at least i sure as hell hope so
|
One of the best things about this game is that Herm REALLY REALLY wanted to win this game against his old team... and he didnt. And I am glad.
**** Herm. |
I agree Jenkins.
This is the happiest I've been in a while. I was actually entertained watching a Chiefs football game on a Sunday...this was awesome. Friggin' awesome! Tyler Thigpen? Really...wow. I officially like this kid now...at least he doesn't get hurt and at least he gives 110% EVERY down. He was amazing today. |

Thigpen could be our BUOTF.
How can you root against a necrophiliac? The man ****s skeletons, he's not afraid of the pass rush!! |
I still think he's going to **** up every time he drops back...but damn...Thigpen was the most impressive player on the field today. Easily the better #4.

Pretty much how I saw it, with emphasis on Herm crawls into shell. Of course, I wanted draft pick status to stay intact so I wasn't too mad. |

i think he can definitely be our #2....young, cheap, what's not to like.... much rather play a guy like him than washed up crap like huard or culpepper |
I would rather lose by 50 than lose by 4 ... Uggghhhh!!!!!!!!!!!
*edit Thigpen? is he taking drugs? Damn ... nice game skeleton f**ker! |
I missed the Flowers INT return. :( Was it awesome?

Thigpen looked a lot better than a backup today.
Of course, its only one game. Let's see how he does when teams have more film on him. He might have weaknesses in his reads that will let DBs jump his throws. Even so, he's got enough arm and mobility to be a starter. Today, he was accurate and made good decisions. If he plays close to this level the rest of the seaosn, he will be the qb next season. Even so, you will have to draft stafford or bradford if they are available. (Of course, if Thigpen plays at this level the rest of the season, we are unlikely to have a shot at Bradford or Stafford). In the unlikely even we do end up one of those college qbs, you can always trade the high round pick at a later time if Thigpen shows he's "the guy". |

so basically we need a qb, rg, rt, wr, rde, mlb, and olb to truly compete. good thing is we've got unlimited cap and high picks
|
maybe a kicker if barth falls flat on his face also

Get us a top notch QB, O-line, LB, WR help and maybe we might have something.:) |

And I'm not even completley sold on Hali. |
What's the deal with Thigpen as a skeleton ****er? I'm missing the reference...

but, who really cares about this loss? So what if they would have won? It was against the Jets. They are not very good and a win gives Herm a little more security. I think it is o.k. that the Chiefs lost to such a lousy team by Herm's conservative play calling. Although he would like others to think it is Gailey calling the plays, we know better. Another loss is another nail in Herm's coffin..........I hope.
