Today's winners, losers & meh

Winners

Thigpen
Bowe
and a patchwork defense

Losers

Herm
McIntosh

Meh

Colquitt
LJ -the fumble lowered him

Rain Man 11-16-2008 05:12 PM

Dorsey made more plays today than I've seen from him before, and while I'm not saying he's the next Thigpen, Rocky Boiman has been active.

FringeNC 11-16-2008 05:16 PM

Refs weren't great either.

Big Chief Homer 11-16-2008 05:20 PM

I think Babin showed some potential.

Mr. Laz 11-16-2008 05:21 PM

Boiman is showing a little bit

blue collar guy who might stick on the strong side

prolly a backup ... but

He's no R-Kal Trulock.

You guys are aware that Boiman and Babin have been around right, they're both pushing 30 I'm pretty sure.

Yeah. I'm just grading on the win/lose/meh scale, not talking about long-term solutions.

Yeah, boiman was with gun in Tennesee and i think Babin was a 1st rounder with houston, but im not sure what happened with him after he went to seattle.

But for having 3 days of practice besides the offsides he played pretty well.

dj56dt58 11-16-2008 05:34 PM

Im sorry..did you just say the Defense was a winner?

Halfcan 11-16-2008 05:42 PM

The real losers were all us fans that were there when Herm punted the game away when we had a good role going and were on our own 40 with about a yard and a half-what a dumbass. Saints drove down and finished us off. The play calling was horrid today. How many times can they run it right up the freakin middle in one game???

Herm has ruined this team and is absolutely the Worst caoch I have ever seen on Any level in Any sport.

The Saints fans were having a blast and the Cheaps fans were leaving early-as soon as 3rd quarter.

Special teams were also up to their Sunday suckage as well. The special teams coach needs to be swinging from the nearest tree around Arrowhead.

I thought special teams were terrible as well-poor tackling, savage running in the same direction every kick off-

it all goes back to Herm-he has lost control of this team.

That's kind of a stretch. I can't imagine how anyone would think the special teams unit would be worth a shit today. Half that damn squad had to be fresh off the street.

Injuries are no excuse, simple as that, but all things considered; I think they played ok. Just sayin

Rain Man 11-16-2008 06:05 PM

The bummer is that I kind of liked Gansz, Jr., and then we got the current seatholder. For the past 25 years, one proven fact is that the Chiefs need a Gansz coaching their special teams.

Game on the Line + Herm = Fail

milkman 11-16-2008 06:48 PM

I posted this in the chat room during the game, but it appeared that Gailey did a nice job of incorporating LJ into the offense with the "Pistol", but it had a negative affect overall on the rythm of the offense.

And even with his creativity in making LJ a part of the offense, LJ still averaged less than 3.5 yards, and was absolutely useless on the goal line.
