How long till my laptop dies?
 

When I wake up my lap top the screen has a red hue to it that fades away after a minute or so. How long till it dies?

It will last right up to just before you clear enough of your time to back everything up.

My laptop died a month ago when my ferret knocked over the glass of Coke I had sitting next to it. My stupidity for getting up and leaving it there. Now I have another. Laptop that is. Coke too actually.

Meh he's the coolest pet ever and my daughter loves him. He's a lot more fun than any cat or dog I've ever had.

No I didn't feel like listening to BD tell me how it was moms fault.

Dell. Purchased around May 2004 and used on average 12 hours a day since.

I say its going to last another year or more, esp. if you use an external monitor with it.

Just sounds like the fluorescent lamp is dying..not a very expensive part, but can be hard to replace..

You should take it to a coffee shop, maybe someone will swipe it and you can laugh at them for stealing a broken laptop.

No. More like a cute, active, playful, cuddly weasel.

Plus he's extremely clean and housebroken. And they de-stink them now. They used to smell all musky.
