The world is coming to an end...
Do you know how hard it is to find a decent slot car racing set? Walmart? No. Sears? No. Where have we come when the staple of my childhood is hard to find? I'm ashamed as an adult who can't pass the "slot-car, good-times" on to the next generation.
Oh, I found one, but holy moly why has this perfect childhood gift gone away? I really want to know! |
I am sure you will have to look online I had some good times with mine when I was little, my dad even had some that he had when he was a kid, although his would go slow as shit and start smoking and stinking. (that was bad ass in it's own right)

At that point, the cars become projectile weapons, and you take one section of track, put the car in the middle, and do the ol' "belt-snap slingshot"!ROFL Good times, good times... |
you need an electic train set too
yeeehawwwwwwww smash 'em up |
We had slot cars when I was a kid...handmedowns from my uncles. hours of fun.
They then got us into using the parts and slotcar motors.....We'd rewire and engineer our Stomper Trucks, hook them up to square flashlight batteries and slotcar triggers and make "mud trucks" that would throw mud on the ceiling. I'm glad a HL isn't closer to me. I don't have the time to build models, but could easily have the sickness this time of year. |
I had the Dukes of Hazzard set
