it will be a good test for KU, Tenn is very long and athletic. Its gonna be a fun game to watch

We had a nice lead against Arizona and Syracuse also. Hopefully this time they can keep it.

As long as KU doesn't start getting dinged for fouls every trip down the court like against Syracuse and AZ everything should be ok.

I gotta say, though I'm a Bill Self fan, it is ridiculous for him to lose control like he did in that first half. When your own players are holding you back you have derailed.

He didn't lose control. He stood up against a third moving screen call against his team. He knew what he was doing -- get a T, let your players know you have their back on calls they argued and get in the officials' ears about calls you don't agree with.

Losing control would have been getting two techs and getting tossed. He was fine.

He did finally calm down but he pushed it pretty close to getting tossed. However I do agree that he needs stand up for his team. Just not to the point of costing them points and possibly the presence of their HC.

I tend to think it was intentional.

Now if I were coach, I would have told the ref to take time off from beating his wife to work decent game, gotten the T. Threw every cuss word at him. Gotten a second, thrown the chair ala Knight and punted the ball ala Nick Nolte in Blue Chips.

Was it a three? He shot from behind the arc but landed with a foot on the line. Thats the second 3 in this game we've been credited with where that happened that I've noticed.
