Who do you want to win it all?

So who are you rooting for?

Isn't it wonderful NOT see'ing the Broncos, Colts, or Patriots in the lineup?
Now we just need those Bolts to lose.

oldandslow 01-05-2009 12:11 PM

I have always liked K. Warner's Cinderella story.

That he won one SB was amazing.

To win two would be off the charts.

They don't have a chance, but I am rooting for the Big Red.

Molitoth 01-05-2009 12:12 PM

Aye, I'm rooting for Warner and the Cards as well...

That franchise deserves some success.

And I'd like Warner to get another ring which would most certainly put him in the HoF.

teedubya 01-05-2009 12:13 PM

Im not rooting for any of them.

Brock 01-05-2009 12:13 PM

the Cards will be quickly annihilated as soon as they step outdoors.

blueballs 01-05-2009 12:14 PM

Someone who hasn't won lately
so no Balt - Pit or NYG

PhillyChiefFan 01-05-2009 12:15 PM

At this point, anyone but Philadelphia.

teedubya 01-05-2009 12:19 PM

all i know is that its gonna to be a non-marquee Superbowl this year, that few give a **** about.

Frazod 01-05-2009 12:20 PM

Probably Tennessee. It would be nice to see Gage get a ring.

Jilly 01-05-2009 12:21 PM

I"m an underdog fan usually...so the Cards are who I"m rooting for

NY-Pittsburgh non-marquee?

Mr. Laz 01-05-2009 12:22 PM

go steelers

RUSH 01-05-2009 12:27 PM

I would like the Eagles to win it all, so that I talk junk to all the Giants fans around me.

talastan 01-05-2009 12:27 PM

Tennessee vs. the Cards with the Titans pulling out a close one. That would make for a very memorable game IMO.

eazyb81 01-05-2009 12:29 PM

Titans, mainly because I live here. But I also like the way they play and the players I know on the team are all extremely cool.

Sam Hall 01-05-2009 12:33 PM

I'm rooting for Baltimore and the rookie quarterback who people thought was a reach.

Chiefnj2 01-05-2009 12:40 PM

I picked the Ravens. I'd like to see a Baltimore/Pitt AFC Championship game in the snow.

I'd also like to see Arizona get by Carolina and play the Giants again. Arizona's coaches did a helluva job this past weekend.

redngold85 01-05-2009 12:59 PM

I'm a fan of Flacco...I thought the Chiefs should have drafted him.....go Ravens

unothadeal 01-05-2009 01:01 PM

Ravens, just because this looks so ****ing cool.

That and the fact that my brother-in-law is a long-suffering Cardinals fan have me rooting for Arizona.

JuicesFlowing 01-05-2009 01:25 PM

I voted for the Titans. Jeff Fisher is a worthy coach who deserves a ring.

Isn't putting "long-suffering" into that a bit redundant?

The Franchise 01-05-2009 01:27 PM

I'd love to see a Ravens/Cards SB.

Stryker 01-05-2009 01:29 PM

A Panthers/Ravens Super Bowl would be cool.

Buck 01-05-2009 01:32 PM

Lets see, who am I rooting for???

Chargers of Course.

Here is how I want this to happen.

Giants beat Eagles
Panthers beat Cards
Chargers beat Steelers
Ravens beat Titans

Giants beat Panthers
Chargers beat Ravens

Chargers beat Giants

Thats my dream scenario, cause then I'd get to go to the AFC Championship game (Chargers host if its them vs. Ravens), and then they get a chance to beat Eli in the SB.

For those of you who dont remember, Eli Manning was drafted by the Chargers, but since he refused to play, they promptly traded him for Rivers/Merriman/Kaeding (technically it was Rivers and the next years #12 pick and a 3rd round pick).

Roethlishberger is playing this week. Bad news for you.

LMAO Yes, I suppose it is. But really I was trying to distinguish between fans like my BiL who have been there since the Cardinals moved to the desert and the bandwagon fans that they've surely picked up this season.

After beating Manning, I don't think the Chargers Defense is scared of any QBs.

Basileus777 01-05-2009 02:08 PM

Baltimore. I've always liked the Ravens. But as long as the Chargers or Giants don't win I will be happy.

tooge 01-05-2009 02:10 PM

Oh, the eagles I guess. I dont hate the Chargers enough to simply root against them, since they punked the donks and all. The rest of the teams? Meh.

BucEyedPea 01-05-2009 03:45 PM

Either Tenn or Carolina. I like Jake and some of the Titan's players!

BigChiefFan 01-05-2009 04:59 PM

Ravens or Eagles.
The Ravens because I really respect the way they build their team each and every year.

Same for the Eagles, but not nearly as much(although they do a good job), and I'd like to see McNabb get a ring-he's a little underrated as far as how consistant their team has been since he's been on board.

MOhillbilly 01-05-2009 05:00 PM

Titans- cause im a Oilers fan from way back.

Dr. Johnny Fever 01-05-2009 05:02 PM

I refuse to give up hope in Detroit.

OnTheWarpath15 01-05-2009 05:21 PM

Anyone but Philly, New York or Whale's Vagina.

Simply Red 01-05-2009 05:22 PM

Eagles, always sort of liked them, not sure why, really.

It sure would be nice to actually give a crap about the NFL playoffs.

If I had to pick a team. Carolina.

Extra Point 01-05-2009 05:50 PM

I'm surprised with the number of AZ picks. What is it? Sympathy with the color red? The awkward bridesmaid that may finally get invited to the wedding?

Go Mizzou & Chiefs 01-05-2009 06:51 PM

Go Carolina!

People like the underdog.

Gracie Dean 01-05-2009 06:53 PM

I guess Steelers

or maybe the Chargers

If Warner was not the QB, I would be agreeable to rooting for AZ but I am tired of the Warner love fest

Must be from before they moved to Phoenix.

You know how people on this board love St. Louis.......

Thig Lyfe 01-05-2009 07:08 PM

Arizona, definitely.

alpha_omega 01-05-2009 07:17 PM

After that bent-ass Super Bowl, I'll never root for the $tealer$ to win anything, EVER.

DaneMcCloud 01-05-2009 07:39 PM

The Titans.

I'd like to see Fisher get the monkey off of his back and win a Super Bowl.

DTLB58 01-05-2009 08:45 PM

I was thinking of this today at work but from a different way.

Of the 8 teams left who do I NOT want to win the SB?

Chargers are the only team I really hate that's left.

The one team that I picked that was a shoe in last week was Baltimore and they proved me right having the most convincing win wild card weekend.

I think they all could be intriging matchups for the SB. But I'll take a Carolina vs Baltimore SB with the Panthers coming out on top

Nzoner 01-05-2009 08:54 PM

Back in August I predicted a Titans-Panthers SB on a post here and am heavily rooting for the Titans because...

1.Jeff Fisher is truly deserving
2.My postseason fantasy football success is riding on them
3.I like alot of their players
4.My postseason fantasy football success is riding on them
5.I'd like to nail my prediction
6.Did I mention my postseason fantasy football success is riding on them.

dorseybowe 01-05-2009 08:57 PM

I've always been a Kurt Warner Fan, and Ray Lewis is entertaining.

badgirl 01-05-2009 10:12 PM

I hope the Titans go all the way.

boogblaster 01-05-2009 10:22 PM

Steelers all the way ...

boogblaster 01-05-2009 10:25 PM

But I like Sproles too ... so I guess Eggo somewhat ...

RJ 01-05-2009 10:26 PM

Ravens, my auxiliary backup team.

I'm a Baltimoron and I love their style of football......kinda like the Chiefs not so long ago, no?

I'll bet Gaz is rooting for the Ravens.

hi! :D

Baby Lee 01-09-2009 10:16 AM

I like McNabb and I like Warner, so I'd enjoy seeing them hoist the trophy. The Ravens have the most exciting D, but the Eagles aren't far behind. But they also have the most formidable opponent this weekend. If the Eagles survive this weekend, they're my faves to win it all, otherwise the Ravens, Cards third.

sd4chiefs 01-09-2009 11:16 AM

I am rooting for any team that is playing the Chargers. I would like to see the game against the Steelers go into overtime and the Chargers lose the coin toss and the Steelers go down the field and score to win the game.
