How long do you think the Honeymoon will last with Scott Pioli? Personally I never heard of the guy until everyone started going nutz on Chiefs Planet but I love the Idea he comes from the Patriots a winning organization.

He has a 5-year honey moon from me. If things aren't working out he should be into his second coach by then. I'll give a guy with his rep a chance to make one mistake on a coach, but if he hires 2 bad coaches, it probably means his draft picks aren't working either, and it is time to start throwing the mud. I only completely turned against Carl when it became apparent that the DV regime wasn't going to get us a ring.

there are so many decisions to make, I think it will be clear whether he is good at his job or faking it...

one thing we should notice most immediately, imo, is the quality of our FA signings...the Pats organization has a pretty good eye for vets with something left to give and we'll see some of that here right away i would guess...
