Terrel Owens

Hypothetically if we draft Stafford/Sanchez. Would Pioli think about grabbing this guy if hes cut loose from Dallas. Or if Ocho Cinco or a similar guy is cut loose? The Patriots took a chance on Moss and it worked out great for them.

Also I understand they were much closer to the SB than we are when they took that chance, I'm just curious of your opinions on it. Also do you think he wants to keep LJ around?

DeezNutz 01-14-2009 11:18 PM

No. And no.

And when someone brings up Gonzo: no.

RustShack 01-14-2009 11:18 PM

:doh!:

DeezNutz 01-14-2009 11:20 PM

And when someone brings up Thigpen: no.

Herm: no.

Gailey: no.

Dipshit poster who doesn't even know who is on the coaching staff: no.

My following post will identify the targets Pioli plans on keeping:

007 01-14-2009 11:20 PM

WTF?

Yes.

BWillie 01-14-2009 11:25 PM

I would want Ocho Cinco, but not TO. To is 35, he's going to deteriorate in the next couple years and I'm not sure if his ego can handle that. And I like TO, usually things he just gets a bad wrap for being a passionate player.

Basileus777 01-14-2009 11:25 PM

AzzKicker.

Did you seriously see a car with DeezNutz plates? I was just breaking the cycle of "no's."

Brock 01-14-2009 11:34 PM

The team that has TO doesn't even want him. It appears that every team that took a chance on him has regretted it.

Yeah over Christmas break and I just thought of it.

Basileus777 01-14-2009 11:37 PM

Thigpen and Owens would get along famously.

Cool. Didn't know if that would be over the line according to the DMV.

Ultra Peanut 01-14-2009 11:38 PM

We're definitely one receiver away from a Super Bowl.

kcfanXIII 01-15-2009 12:15 AM

moss has never been as big a cancer as TO can be. don't get me wrong, moss had his share of mouthiness and issues, but i never heard him go complain because a tight end was getting more touches. did i mention dallas was winning at the time?

TO actually had a point with that. Romo does lock in on Witten too much.

Thig Lyfe 01-15-2009 12:36 AM

lol

With how he was in Dallas and Philly it seems you get the first year with him without too many incidents on a competitive team. The second year is when the shitfest starts.

CaliforniaChief 01-15-2009 12:50 AM

TO actually drops a LOT of passes that are right in the breadbasket. Not sure he's the "right guy for a 53 man team."

teedubya 01-15-2009 02:30 AM

TO is like 35 years old.

JuicesFlowing 01-15-2009 02:34 AM

T.O.: a whiney bitch who's getting past his prime and destroys team chemistry. No thanks!

kcxiv 01-15-2009 03:19 AM

Pioli took a chance at Moss, He may take a chance at 85 or 82. lol

He showed obvious signs of decline this season.

Mile High Mania 01-15-2009 05:46 AM

TO is talented, but he's never met a QB that he didn't stab in the back and his team's have never won anything... only in PHI did they come close, and he missed several games down the stretch with a broken leg and they advanced to the SB.

I wouldn't be interested.

Keep LJ. I would take Chad. NEVER NEVER NEVER TO though. EVER.

Ty Law may be available.

DaKCMan AP 01-15-2009 07:30 AM

FAIL

Pasta Little Brioni 01-15-2009 07:33 AM

Did you not watch the press conference at all, because this would go against everything he said about building a team and not just collecting talent.

MahiMike 01-15-2009 07:45 AM

Wes Welker. He can come over w/Cassel.

Molitoth 01-15-2009 10:13 AM

As if this team isn't filled with enough locker room cancers, lets bring in TO and Ocho!

Mr. Laz 01-15-2009 10:38 AM

no ........ because we don't have an established group of veterans to control Terrell Owens like they did for Randy Moss in New England.

also we aren't winning yet which is another mandatory deal for signing one of the prima donna, asshole wideouts.

Mr. Arrowhead 01-15-2009 10:53 AM

Hes not a scott pioli type of player

chiefsngop 01-15-2009 12:14 PM

TO thinks Witten gets targeted too much .........

Sincerely,
Tony Gonzalez

Mama Hip Rockets 01-15-2009 12:16 PM

AND... With all the "Man Love" there seems to be between Thiggy and TG then Owens would definitely flip his lid here.

I say NO to TO

I would say there is a lot more in common with Moss and Ocho than Moss and TO.

I could see Scott P or Bill Belichick signing Ocho, but not TO.

No way. Chad Johnson is a worse teammate than TO if that's possible.

Pablo 01-15-2009 01:04 PM

No to TO.

No to Ocho Cinco.

Yes to Housh..although that will never happen.

No thanks. We already have a designated pass dropping WR.

After experiencing LJ I don't ever want another attitude case. If everyone felt that way, they would disappear.

Uncle_Ted 01-15-2009 03:42 PM

Because T.O. bitched about Garcia, McNabb, and Romo, but would get along fabulously with a rookie QB.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight
