Mozilla Firefox: AutoPager (pretty cool)

Just in case you didn't feel browsing Chiefsplanet was easy enough. The AutoPager Firefox extension automatically loads the next page of a site inline when you reach the end of the current page for infinite scrolling of content. AutoPager works with a ton of sites, including Lifehacker, of course, Google.

me likey!!

OnTheWarpath15 01-20-2009 05:57 PM

That rocks.

Hammock Parties 01-20-2009 06:01 PM

jerking it to this extension

smittysbar 01-20-2009 06:03 PM

This is ****ing bad ass.

Have to go see if it works on ebay.......BRB

Hammock Parties 01-20-2009 06:03 PM

Holy shit, works on the main page, too. AWESOME. Makes it hella easy to see all the threads you've missed.

smittysbar 01-20-2009 06:04 PM

sweet, it does

Hammock Parties 01-20-2009 06:06 PM

Girly thread just became infinitely popular.

Bearcat 01-20-2009 06:06 PM

:wayne:

This is perhaps the greatest efficiency-related extension since Googlepedia.

It'll obviously be great for news sites, but there's one tech site in particular that will split 10 paragraphs into 5 pages, and it drives me nuts (dialup is dead, please change your format :cuss: ).

<strike>I think I love you</strike> Thanks! :toast:

Saul Good 01-20-2009 06:16 PM

That is awesome. Great find.

Buck 01-20-2009 06:20 PM

Noice

Buck 01-20-2009 06:24 PM

Works for Youtube

Both searched videos and user comments on the video pages.

KcMizzou 01-20-2009 06:31 PM

This is sweet. Thanks!

Hammock Parties 01-20-2009 06:33 PM

The girly thread is basically one giant scrolling jerkathon now.

Mr. Flopnuts 01-20-2009 06:34 PM

Rep for this one.

KcMizzou 01-20-2009 06:38 PM

It'll be great for those annoying sites that like to break a 10 item list in 10 seperate pages.

DaFace 01-20-2009 06:39 PM

Interesting. I'm too set in my ways around here - it kind of weirds me out - but cool extension nonetheless.

Good point.

Hammock Parties 01-20-2009 06:48 PM

Use it on newegg for win.

Bearcat 01-20-2009 07:05 PM

I'll have to mess around with the wizard sometime... couldn't get it to work with an annoying site, but if all else fails, I'll read the instructions.

dallaschiefsfan 01-20-2009 07:11 PM

Great find. And again...yet another reason why Firefox is superior to all browsers.

dallaschiefsfan 01-20-2009 07:14 PM

Does not seem to work with facebook's interface...but still a great tool.

Buck 01-20-2009 07:19 PM

It doesn't work with my Yahoo inbox or with Slickdeals.net

Hammock Parties 01-20-2009 08:58 PM

This + google image search = SEX

kansas hawk 01-21-2009 05:37 AM

Oh this is so awesome. Love it.

NewChief 01-21-2009 10:16 AM

Only thing I don't like about it on the Planet is that it takes away the quick reply field at the bottom of the page as well as the little drop down navigation bar at the bottom.

ShortRoundChief 01-21-2009 10:23 AM

this is pretty cool.

You just have to scroll all the way down. Depending on the # of pages, it could be at the bottom of 10 pages.

Archie F. Swin 01-21-2009 01:38 PM

damn, my rep inbox just got blown-the-hell-up

i'm feelin the love!:grouphug:

CoMoChief 01-23-2009 12:03 PM

Archie F. Swin 02-28-2009 08:12 AM

TTT

Stewie 02-28-2009 08:31 AM

Holy Shnikes! This is great.

And now for something totally unrelated. Is there a setting that gets rid of the "attached thumbnails" and makes pics full size? I looked in User CP but didn't see anything.

NFL16 04-03-2009 11:53 PM

Sorry for the bump. Quick question... has anyone else had problems while using the autopager app recently? I have the most updated version and it won't work for anything from google to chiefsplanet.

Archie F. Swin 04-04-2009 12:07 AM

seems to be working well for me

unlurking 04-04-2009 05:36 AM

Works for me.

Crush 04-04-2009 09:40 AM

Firefox + NoScript + Adblock Plus + AutoPager FTW
