Face it, we're just getting rid of assistants and will eventually allow Herm to announce that he is remaining and hiring a new coaching staff...

...and will probably get an extension. :(

it's probably considered bad form but we can hire whomever we want, whenever we want.


heck ..... we could hire Haley and have him sitting in Herm's office the next morning to tell Edwards he's fired if we want.

What over the last 20 years from the Chiefs actually gives you hope they would do the right thing?

The first thing is we no longer have Carl running the show. There is your last 20 years of the same ol thing. Who knows what is in store with Pioli in control? My guess is Haley isn't a viable candidate unless a few things fall through. I see KC retaining Herm before I see them taking Haley in. My guess it is Shanahan who KC is dealing with behind the scenes.

What in Pioli's history makes you think he's going to do the stupid thing? I'm not saying he won't, but I'm giving the guy the benefit of the doubt. This isn't King Carl's chiefs anymore.

It wouldn't surprise me all that much. I'm still not sure how I would react to such a thing. The Rat, arghhhhhh....

Last I checked the Hunts still owned the team right? Pioli is the GM, but if Clark pulls his unit out of Herms mouth and tells Pioli that Herm IS the Coach, Pioli's History will have nothing to do with the situation...

Clark has already proven he isn't Lamar, and Pioli isn't Carl. You need to get over your hatred for the Chiefs and realize this is a new era. If you can. I doubt it. Someone as negative as you really can't change.
