Goodbye Tony. Hello...
Crabtree? If we can't trade down, I think they would really have to consider him. No proven weapons besides Bowe...
And don't say Mark Bradley or Bobby Engram. Bradley, it was fun while it lasted. Engram is old. |
hello... Brad Cottam! cmon down!
I think he steps up, 30-40 receptions. Don't think we draft a WR early, maybe next year. |
Hello....someone next year!! :sulk:
Seriously though I wish Tony the best and I'm looking to see Cottam step it up. Next years draft class will be better IMO anyway. |
Deon Butler in the 4th!
|
I could see us taking Crabtree. I've felt that way for a while.
|
Trade down for DHB :) Next year will be all about defense this year is OLine and Receiver and maybe a Tweener DE/OLB
|
If we don’t trade down I would say he is our guy

Haley knows WRs. Between Pioli and Haley, they have been around 5 top 10 WRs in the last 3 years (TO, Boldin, Fitz, Welker and Moss). If they think Crabtree is worth the 3, I'm 100% behind it. I think he's the pick as well. |
What if its maclin? Say we trade down with the Bengals and take Maclin and Barwin/Brace/Brown (if he falls as far as Gosselin thinks...) WOW, that would be an amazing draft in and of itself. Not as cool as Edwards, Barwin/Brown/Brace, and a first next year though, if we could swing that.
|
I have jumped on this bandwagon as well. I would rather trade out of this pick but if we don't I would rather roll the dice on him than anybody. Most are a gamble and while I don't think Curry will be a bust I don't think he'll be a difference maker either. I think Crabtree could be.
|
Were not the Pats laughed at for trading a 2nd to Miami for Welker?
|
I think we should use the #3 overall on the best TE on the board.
|
I'd like Cornelius Ingram out of Florida. Alot of people project him to the 4th-5th round in because of his injuries. But if he can stay healthy he is a straight up baller and would get a ton of yardage.

The thing that bothers me on Crabtree is his foot. I know he had it worked on, but a bad foot doesn't always return to 100% after surgery.
Hate to spend a #3 pick on him with the chance that his foot won't fully heal. |

About the ONLY thing that's going to make me mad is if they move Brandon Albert. Even if they took a tackle at #3, I'd be ok with it, as long as that tackle plays on the right side and they leave Albert alone. |
