IF Herm and Carl would have been running the draft....
Herm and Carl select:
1.) Aaron Curry OLB 2.) Everette Brown DE 3.) Kraig Urbik G/OT 4.) Louis Murphy WR 5.) Rhett Bomar QB 6.) Andrew Gardner OT 7.) AQ Shipley C 7.) Khalif Mitchell DT The Chiefs wouldn't have traded Tony G. And they wouldn't have traded for Cassel. Thiggy would be the starting QB. |
No way to tell. This thread is moot.
|
I knew we would see a thread about this at some point..
|
Who's Herm's QB? THigpen? I doubt that.

And our hopes would have been oh so high. Then we would have them CRUSHED! I will give Pioli/Haley the benefit of the doubt until the season starts.

Herm's defense would have been significantly improved with Curry and Brown.

Who cares who Herm and Carl would have picked? |

the pioli draft may turn out well. I just don't see it right now. hopefully Tyson is the 2nd coming of Seymour. |

I think they Chiefs would have still tried to trade for Cassel and if that didn't work out we would have drafted Sanchez.
Clark stated many times at the beginning of the off-season how he wants a franchise QB |
Curry would have built a rolling roof for free over the stadiums out of recycled aluminum cans if we signed him. I can't believe they didn't take that into consideration...

Herm said he needed to fill about 5 holes in one of his last press conference, so you can take some pretty good guesses to which picks fill those obvious holes that Herm had in mind. |
I would actually see them taking Crabtree over Curry for some reason.

Not to mention if Herm and Carl would've stayed Gun would've been the scape goat. Guaranteed. |
This thread is eerily reminiscent of when the Israelites wanted to go back to Egypt after a miracle had sprung them.
|
Everette Brown has question marks.

Average Points Allowed Per Game: 27.5 Average Yards Allowed Per Game: 393.2 Total Sacks: 10 (NFL Record) Ranking: 29th in the league Talent wise we may have improved but statistically it was probably one of the worst defensive unit to be fielded by KC. |
