It's a boy!
 

My wife and I just had a new baby boy. He was born late Thursday night(June 25th). He's 9 lbs 12 oz. and is 22 inches long. They are a little worried about a possible infection because of a test that came back so he'll have to stay in until at least Monday. He's a pretty strong little guy so I don't expect any trouble with it, just a precautionary thing. I have 2 girls so I'm pretty happy to finally have my boy. :)

One of the ones' my wife lost was a boy, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't envious. I know more than a few families that quit after the third girl.

Wow congratulations!!! Great news, poor boy though, he's got 2 older sisters to pick on him and then later on poor sisters when some jackass breaks their hearts they won't have the older boy to defend their honor.

I've got a one year old as well, just turned one on June 14th. I think I'll be experiencing a whole lot of terrible for good couple of years. I also have a 4 year old so I've gone through it once already. I personally think the 3's are way worse than the 2's.

He's got a sister who is only 1 year older than him. I fully expect the following scenario to play out when they hit the teanage years.

Thank you all for the well-wishes. We are just hoping to be able to bring him home tomorrow. Things still look promising but we'll see what they say tomorrow.

Hmmm. I just looked this up and the average baby size is 7.5 pounds and between 19 and 21 inches long. It looks like you might well have a good-sized dude on your hands in about 17 years, Mr. Shaid. You may want to start working out now.
