My inside source: Chiefs will sign TE Garrett Mills from the Pats....

....... I have no idea how reliable this source is. I guess we'll see. :)

He was drafted by the Pats. Now he's on the Vike's practice squad. Appears to be a good pass catching TE.

LOL!!

If you could modify that photo to show the hull of the Titanic bending so that the stern is almost parallel with the water, it would be more accurate. History Channel had a great piece on that. The movie has the ship straight and breaking. That's not right. The Titanic bent, and bent, and bent, and then came apart.

Just Passin' By 09-06-2009 03:30 PM

I must be missing the joke, because Mills slipped through to the Vikings practice squad.

Sure-Oz 09-06-2009 03:31 PM

We aren't signing anyone

It looks like someone claimed Bear Pascoe. Hope its KC. Mills is an H-Back. The Chiefs need a full time TE. That's Bear.

Yeah, incredible. Metal bends. If you take an empty can of soda and apply force on the ends, the can bends. Wow. What a concept. Metal doesn't just "snap" like an icicle. It bends first...

Someone is enough of a geek with the vids to take that photo and "bend" Titanic like a banana.

Would you say that metal bends due to its interstitial nature?

Chiefs and Broncos are both talking to Garrett Mills' agent now. My source is Kevin Harlen, 2nd hand.

Titanic didn't hit an iceberg. It hit a Jew. A really big Jew. His nose, even.

I don't know. But, I'm impatient.

Great Expectations 09-09-2009 09:33 AM

I remember watching Mills lead all of D1 in catches for a TE at Tulsa. He has great hands and runs good routes. He isn't the best blocker and has average speed.

Certainly not a pass-catching TE

Mills is a legend in Tulsa. Right up there with Bob St. Clair, Howard Twilley, Jerry Rhome, Steve Largent, Lovie Smith and Gus Frerotte.

He's similar to Frank Wycheck or Chris Cooley. The undersized H-back type that plays off the line.
