Mitch Holthus
on 810 now
Same guy, different cock he's sucking. Seriously, he so full of shit. His time being Carl's fluffer totally blew his ego out of proportion. |
Mitch's job is to be a homer. Just lay off. Mitch is an icon. I'll miss him when he's gone.
|
I like Mitch. Conversations I have had with him at training camp, he was very critical of the team.
|
WTF kind of BS thread starter is this? All opinion, no details.
|
Mitch is great on game day.
Any other time he's a waste. |
haha is Holthus dissing Pollard?

What a stupid thread.
|
I can't stand him. WTF is with the stupid *#^@%ing nicknames? The Centaur? NOBODY calls LJ "The Centaur" except Holthaus.
Blabbering efftard. |
Holthus "watch out this guy Thigpin, Donnie Edwards, Napolean harris, Dontrell Savage, Glen Cadrez" is explosive and will change 2 or 3 games this year with his speed
|
I love his play-by-play. The guy has a great trademark TD call. Would love to hear it once or twice this season.
Add Lenny to the mix and I think it's a good team. |
The human joystick does it again! He runs around like a joystick that his human, The human joystick the joystick human, touchdown kansas city, joystick joystick joystick"

THE GREATEST OLINE IN THE LEAGUE fast forward to the the end of the game.
And Trent green is sacked with only 3 men rushing..... |
What the hell, he is suppose to be homer. I think he would be in some dip shit, if he just started dissing on the chiefs.
|
Follow Mitch on twitter, he is quite a bit more "fair".

So, you're saying Mitch Holthus is dying and only has days to live!!! :deevee: |
I like Mitch. He's a fantastic play-by-play guy and if there's no delay where the radio calls the action before I see it on TV, I'll have Mitch and Lenny on during the game. I enjoy his positive views, especially nowadays when most of the Chief fanbase is swimming in pessimism. I haven't read his Twitter posts, but I imagine he's a realist as well and isn't touting the company line that EVERYTHING is goodie gumdrops.

It was a sad day when Kevin Harlan left and this K-State twat walked in.
|
I think he and Lenny do a good job. I've lived in a few NFL markets- Pittsburgh, Philly, DC, Atlanta, Buffalo, Houston and heard a few others. I think they do a good job calling the game. If you think their broadcast is homerish you haven't heard most of the other ones around the league, in my opinion. I can't speak for Mitch outside of calling the games themeselves.

Mitch is terrible. I miss Kevin Harlan. He's the best at what he does, in my opinion. Mitch just bores me.
|
Mitch would be better if he didn't take himself so seriously.

Holthus is simply a thinner version of Gretz. The OP is right on.
|
I remember talking to him before the Chiefs Bears game at Soldier field. My tickets were in the media deck area right by his box and the Chiefs coaches box. He's a really nice guy. If you talk to him off air, he bashes the team a little bit more than one would expect. I remember him saying the Chiefs may not score more than 6 pts (2 FG's) at the Bears game. Thats when Hu-tard was starting at QB.

Well said sir. Well said. As for Mitch,...I think he is incredible. I love everything he does for the Kansas City Chiefs, and I completely understand his role. Mitch Holthus is the man. If you don't think so, I say BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO |
I really like Holthus except for the goofy nicknames. I can't remember the last time I watched a game without the tv muted and the radio network on.
Hell, half the time, if the game's bad, I just listen. It's fun listening to Lenny get crankier as the hours groan by. |
the nicknames are pretty lame. VERY lame I may add.
Having that said I like the "TOUCHDOWN KAAAAAAAAAANSAS CIIIITY" |

Holthus is pretty good, but he's no Chick or Vin.
|
****ing with Mitch is FAIL. This thread blows.
And listen you two half a ****s; by the end of the season the only thing Holthus will be talking about is how much of an IR bust Brown is, and how LJ runs like a girl when he's not bitch-slapping one. |

Unlike Bernard "would you like fries with that?" Pollard. |

Holthus is really only annoying when he does radio interviews but since he's employed by the team I don't think he's really allowed to say what he thinks.

You are a bitter bitch.
In about a month I'll be accepting your apologies. |
Mitch's interviews are homeristic. That's to be expected.
His P-b-P is great. Always has down and distance, LOS, time and score. Describes formations pretty well, keeps apprised of the play clock. Does pretty well on play description. That's all I really ask. |
I love listening to Mitch do the play by play, but I can't stand Len. Len is the reason I don't listen to the game on the radio.

Is this all because you were wrong about Pollard and you're so bitter about it you're going to attack my favorite player now? |

Plus, there's a reason ESPN and NFL Films uses his TOUCHDOWN, KAAAANSAAAAAS CITY!! when they're presenting Chiefs highlights. He's very good. His play by play is buttloads better than 75% of the guys for CBS, FOX, NBC, and ESPN. |
Quote:
Ooops. Good guy, but definitely a homer. |

Oh some people are just blind to what Len did 20+ years ago. They think he can do no wrong. He's just an old football player that doesn't want to be forgotten. |

It was his number at Nebraska and Chicago. He's a good player just wanted to rub it in lol
